Been playing lots of UnReal World and FF7/FFX. URW is such a strange a wonderful game. I think they're in the Guinness Book of world records for longest computer game under active development... 15 years or something. I've finally learned how to actively hunt in the game after lots of trial and error. Now it's almost too easy and I have more animal furs and meat than I know what to do with (not that I'm complaining). I've been cheating too by backing up my character before going on risky combat adventures. Getting the hang of the weird combat now and have wiped out a forest village (including two children) and a band of foreign traders carrying super valuable metal weapons and armor.

Final Fantasies not much to say since they're so linear. On FF7 I discovered the OPness of Enemy Skill materia (this was my third play through). FFX I'm trying to turn Kimahri into a black mage but he's sucking ass so far. Not that it matters since the game holds your hand so much but it's fun to try something new while experiencing the story again.

Last year I built a PC for the first time and it gives me extra joy to use it rather than chromebook. I ditched Windows entirely too and installed only Xubuntu on it, determined to work through any problems I had like I would on Windows. There've been very few problems so far and I'm growing to like the Linux way of doing things more and more. The way the computer parts were engineered to fit together really amazed me. I didn't really "build" the machine, just plugged everything in to their slots. Can see why people enjoy it as a hobby... reminds me of the old RC cars days. Now people have flying drones with cameras in them, crazy how much technology has progressed.
