Episode 1
Episode 2
Episode 3
Hello again, friends and lovers. Some of you know that I've been drawing webcomics, and if you know what's going on, I got a new chapter for you. Sort of. It's so long that I decided to release what I had as of 10/15/18. You might be like "What the heck? You started this in March, and 7 months later, you only release half an episode?" Yeah. Part 2 of Episode 4 will be coming out like 3 years from now, so "get hyped".
If you want to know more about this project, you can take a look at the spoiler below, but basically, it's me just messing around on my computer and drawing out a story. And yes, I drew it using only my mouse. Enjoy:
Trigger warning: nsfw. You will get fired if you read this at work

HI THERE. I DIDN'T SEE YOU COME IN. PLEASE, HAVE A SEAT.
While I'm making this primarily "for fun", I know a few people enjoy it for the jokes and the amount of work I go into just to get a cheap laugh. I also like to make things for my friends and people that I know. So, for those who enjoy me doing this, it kind of gives me motivation to keep going. After all, the goal was to get better at drawing, and I'm doing that in a very fun way.
If you don't know, the idea came from me reading an interview with Justin Roiland where he said Dan Harmon takes forever to write. So I said "How hard is it to come up with a Rick and Morty episode, really?" and planned to draw a storyboard for an episode of Rick and Morty that I came up with. The only problem was: I was bad.
Additionally, Fabiano drew a comic that sort of inspired me to post my drawings here, no matter how crude. For the first two "episodes", I thought the really crude style of drawing was "funny", but that joke got old quickly. I would deliberately draw Sonic wrong on purpose, or with minimal effort, just to make him look absurd.
The third chapter was quite a bit more ambitious on my part. That's when I really wanted to step muh game up. The first episode was 12 panels, the second was 60 panels, and the third one finished at 260 panels. Now, the fourth episode stands at 450 panels, and it has a second part to it.
Episode 4 was the first episode where I wrote a script beforehand, because I knew it was going to be long (that's what she said), but kept the script loose enough so I could modify it, add things, change things, and add gags. The script is basically a bunch of bullet-points that say "This happens", "This happens", and so on. I think I'm about 2/3 through the bullet-points.
Why did it take so long, though?
Three things factored into this taking so long to create:
1. School. I stopped entirely in the months of April and May to focus on classes, and didn't resume until mid-June. Even then, I was only drawing like 3 panels a day, or sometimes, not at all.
2. I draw slow. Let's face it: I'm not that fast. I've gotten faster, but whenever I draw something that I've never drawn before, it takes me way longer because I make more mistakes, and have to fix them.
3. Too many projects. I've tried to do too many things at once, and so my focus needed to be narrowed down.
So what now? I'm not sure. I plan to pick right back up within a few weeks on this webcomic, and get some other stuff done in the meantime. A few things include: practicing for CPL, job hunting (I have my priorities straight, as you can see), writing for some of my friends, and help a friend of mine with their website. And I still have to work out and eat good. And maintain human relationships. And feed the cat.
THEN, I have another really cool project on hold, just sitting on the shelf that needs to be worked on, but that's going to be shoved to the back of the queue for now.
Never-been-asked questions:
Q: Did you really draw this with a mouse?
A: Yeah
Q: What's gonna happen in Part 2?
A: Fuck-all
Q: Have you considered getting a drawing tablet?
A: At this point, no. I'm so used to drawing with my mouse that I think I can actually draw with my mouse better than I can with my hand.
Q: Do you ever stream how you draw these?
A: I do, but only occasionally. I usually do most of my drawing at like 2 in the morning, so it's kind of hard to do it on a schedule that would suit nearly any normal person.
Q: Where do you come with this stuff?
A: This is one of the craziest questions ever. I'm going to quote Scott Adams here by saying: "Everyone gets ideas, and if you're not getting any, your brain must be defective".
Q: Why is Dilbert in the comic?
A: I'm just a big fan of Scott Adams' Dilbert series, and of cboyardee's Dilbert 2 and Dilbert 3 Youtube videos.
Q: Who is the woman in black?
A: I have no idea why I'm making it a secret, but it's a secret, I guess?
Q: WHY DID YOU KILL MOM-CAT?
A: I didn't. She fell off a ladder. It happens all the time.
Q: Why is Marcos so much shorter than the rest of his family?
A: First, it's funny. Second, the reason why is even funnier, but that's in part 2.
Q: Do the characters know they're in a comic?
A: Some of them do, but most of them don't. There is some debate in their universe as to whether or not I exist or not. They can never know 100% if it's a comic or not.
Q: God is mentioned frequently in this comic, and he even shows up near the end. What's up with that?
A: Some of the characters believe in a comic Creator, some of them believe in a vague concept of "God", and some are religious. The "God" character is real, but I wanted to introduce him in this episode so I could use him again in later episodes. You'll see what that's all about. Unless I pull a Damon Lindelof and explain nothing. I learned how to not write a long-form story from him. I plan to blog about that sometime.
Q: Do you think Peach and Pauline are actually the same person?
A: No, I accept the official globalist illuminati Nintendo canon that they are separate characters, and that their coincidental appears early on were just happenstance. You may have noticed that all the video game characters that appear in my comic are just parodies of video game characters. Really, video game characters don't have personalities unless it's a game like Assassin's Creed where the whole game is just one big cut-scene. Therefore, Mario can be a clueless idiot, Luigi can be a drug addict, Sonic can be very bitter (and very gay), Tails can have an IQ of less than 70, Samus can be a sassy no-nonsense cop, Chun-Li can be Summer from Rick and Morty, Cammy Green can work for a bad guy, Shyguy and Mario can be best friends, and Bowser and the Princess can be in love, but are separated because Mario keeps kidnapping her away from Bowser.
Q: Is Episode 5 written?
A: No. Episode 4, part 2 is written. I'm going to let Rian Johnson write episode 5 and subvert all your expectations.
Q: Who is Kathy's boyfriend? Is he even real?
A: Yeah, I came up with an idea for him after writing Episode 3. He's an egg with arms and legs.
