This image is a picture of a desert that used to be a city. In the background you can see the Arch from St. Louis (where I'm from). In the center of the image is a red orb, and you'll also see the quote "Change of place is not a change of mind". Which is of course a good reminder, no matter where you live right now, either a small town or a big city, if you think you'll be more content moving to "california" or something, this is not the case. The only thing that can change the mind, is the mind itself, for wherever you move or travel to, you are taking yourself and therefore your mind with you.
The second image is the King and the Pawn thrown into the same wooden box. The post on the image reminds that we may be born unequal, but at the end of our lives, we, just like the king and the pawn in the chest game, goes to the same destination: death.
My work was inspired by the writings of the roman philosophers Marcus Aurelius and Seneca.
