I'm currently in DC for a part of my Referendariat (sth like legal clerkship). I'm going to stay for about two months and I don't know any locals here. So anyone eager to give me some tips about local gems? Thanks in advance

If you're a nature-type, the Shenandoah Mountains are fuckin' GORGEOUS and I'd highly recommend a trip there for some hiking!

So if you have any questions about popular and not-so-popular tourist locations I can answer most of them. Just be sure to not fall off a cliff like I did...

Make sure you hit all the touristy things. Monuments, museums, etc. There are some really neat museums (Newseum, Spy Museum, Air & Space, Holocaust, etc.)
