I play Rubick more than any other hero and I seem to encounter more bugs and odd behaviours with Chakram than with most other spells. I'm mostly posting this blog because I'm curious about the kinds of issues other players have found with spell interaction or if anyone knows any way to avoid these :D
Before anything else, please excuse my potato screenshots, I play Dota on a laptop most of the time.
First, despite the fact that I see people constantly telling me the opposite, it's possible to steal both Chakrams as Rubick:
Fig. 1: We may have lost the base, but I have two Chakrams, so it's not all bad!
In my experience, this is (most reliably) achieved by stealing the primary (red) Chakram.1 If you steal the secondary Chakram, you usually end up with this:
Fig. 2: Above, only the blue Chakram is available despite the Agh's on Rubick. How sad
The behaviour still seems a little inconsistent, but if you're trying to snag both Chakrams, the easiest thing to do is to snatch the red one and hope you get both. For reasons unknown, you'll still sometimes just get the red one...
I'm sure most of you will know that, if you die while you have a Chakram active, it leaves the graphic there for the rest of the game (which can be confusing and frustrating), but for reasons I do not fully understand, stealing a new spell while Chakram is active, then casting that spell and re-stealing Chakram often ends up doing *this* to your skills:
Fig. 3: Every single time this happens, I ruin a teamfight.
The only remedy I've found is to quickly enable and disable legacy keys, though sometimes that doesn't work and all you can do is click the steal button and replace the spell. That usually shuffles them again.
This last has been around for a long time, but I have a feeling it'll become far more common with the new Agh's buff to Rubick. I guess we'll see :D
Do other Rubick players encounter the same bother? If so, have you found any ways to dodge these?
Note: If you steal both, you can ping them as in the above screenshot and the second comes up in all caps for extra emphasis :D

my guess:
rubick holding aghs, when stealing the basic one gets both rubick without aghs: only gets one

I could see some kinda buggy stuff going on there as I remember the first thing my friend did was go in game and try out timber in a bot match when he got his aghs upgrade. I picked OD and just ran to his jungle to alt tab and let him have fun trying out the duel chakrams. After a minute or so I que back into the game and just astral him for the lols while he's throwing out his blades. Apparently it bugged his spell and showed both blades as blue, so ya I donno but I'm sure there are a few graphical/spell glitches out there.

it probably depends on which chakrams are out

The wordsmithing level of this title is level 89, at least...

do you actually play with those graphics settings
|
Yesterday in one game rubick stole chakram at least once and then lost it while a chakram was out, and it just stayed there spinning endlessly. Just the graphical part though I think, as it didn't do any damage or anything.

I wish Rubick got his own Chakram color (green obviously), since as Timbersaw I get messed up VERY frequently thinking the RubickChakram is mine, and spamming the "return chakram" key in vain

Actually, in that game Alurr fed from offlane for the first twenty minutes, while imallinson put on an incredible show with Brewmaster and picked up and early radiance & aghs. There was a point in the game where he was at 18-2 or some such.
