BLOG TIME
FORGET DOTA, Epic Designers Studio LLC (Me, Qbek, Dave, thor6136 and Gosi) are making an RPG, 'WHAT' you say? How are you doing that? Well with RPG maker of course! Now that may seem like a copout to some of you but it's actually better than I thought it would be and I certainly didn't feel like building my own engine from scratch.
The Game
The Game is going to be in a JRPG style but like SC2, makin' sense aren't we? Basically with our CUSTOM DAMAGE TYPE COUNTER SYSTEM we're going to be providing top notch tactical gameplay with EVERY BATTLE!

I know, I know, pretty mindblowing I have to say, although that's more Qbek's department so I can't reveal much more if I even wanted to.
The art style is going to be pretty basic pixel art, imagine FFVI or something, we're using the default tilesets and sprites of RPG Maker as well as some custom tilesets and some art of our own here. IT'S GONNA BE AWESOME.
The game is going to be MASSIVELY flavoured around TL and the internet, with special spells and enemies created specially for the game (as well as items, skills, levels, dungeons and maps). There will be jokes you get, and jokes likely no one will get but Qbek and I, but if you browse TL/LD it's gonna be FUNNY and there is going to be more than enough content to hold you.
Story is a tale of love, of mystery, of BETRAYAL and of a quest. There will be backstabbing scumbags, crushed friendships and broken hearts, you will see epic dialog written by our expert team of non-TL writers and epic battles between names you know and love from the forums.
But don't worry, there will be plenty of room to explore, there are optional side dungeons and path's that when explored will reveal heartwarming jokes and helpful loot.
I'll probably right a blog or two more as development continues, It's been seriously fun making it so far and I'm sure you all will love it, hey, maybe you'll even come across yourself in there, wouldn't that be nice?

RPGmaker used to be such a headache, but they upgraded it nicely. Some custom-made games there are mindblowing.
But anyway, this game fails unless its principal objective is trolling GD.

I want to stake claim to a random unimportant role, like being some NPC in a bar or inn that has some random story related to that town(like how my kids grew up unable to read because the town adopted ixmike's text as an official language, or maybe that would make them amazing at reading...
