EPTSince there has changed so many things I will just start of with the thing I am most proud of: I joined the AT Gaming academy!:D My new handle is [Atcm]EsHKiDA. This happened in februari and it has been a total blast so far!!! the whole team is super nice. This has given me alot of motivation to keep training and watch how things will work out over a longer period of time. Since in the world of sc taking time off can be devastating. But more on this later
My last blog was about my ambitious attempts to realize my dream to become a progamer, starting in diamond, I took the long road to masters, with long I mean it took me getting this high on the ladder to get promoted.

It is now mid febuary and my first big LAN is coming up, Frag-o-Matic 16! The week before I luckily had week of school to prepare for this event, This included having a mini bootcamp at one of my new team mates, Atcm Optimus, a mid gm which you should all go vote for in the nationwars poll:D Either way I stayed there for a few days and prepared my game, with tons of feedback I was ready to roll! On 28th of febuari it was time, after an exhausting 5 hour drive me and my team mates got to the location where keyboards would be smashed. I set up my pc and get ready to play my matches, the brackets were made and got released at around 10pm,
Bracket luck was on my side, My group consited of 5 people, There was only 1 person that I knew of and that was [mcon]dimmert, a mid master zerg who I never played before. I was quite happy being in a group of nonames, I checked my opponents and a smile appeared on my face, 1 diamond zerg, plus 1 diamond and 1 gold protoss.
I played the protoss first, the more I win the better for my confidence right?
I start the game and win 2-0 no problem. By now it is around 11 pm, I looked on the main screen and the opening is about to start. And for anybody who hasn't attended a LAN before, the opening is LOUD.... so loud you can't hear ingame sound anymore, So I waited and waited till around midnight, being left confused a friend came over too us and told that the production fucked up and the opening was already over but there wasn't any sound X_X
Getting ready I faced my next opponent, the diamond protoss and went 2-0. followed up by losing 1-2 to the diamond zerg which I considered my best mu. So all that now there was only 1 way to get into the bracket stage, defeating [mcon]Dimmert, but just as I finished with my games, he was ofline!!! So then the OW SHIT kicked in, I had to find a place to sleep for my next match, but where did I had to go? I had a air matras but can't sleep very well on that, Luckly our lovely team mate “Patexrepair” let me sleep in his car and I atleast could get a few hours of sleep. With that said, note to self, never sleep in a car outside with only 1 T-shirt and a sleeping bag:D
It was morning and I got up at 6 am orso after getting 3 hours of sleep. Tired as hell I got behind my pc waiting for my opponent, which happend to not show up.... Got my pillow and just waited there. Until that moment. I got a msg on battle.net and saw that he was finally ready!!! Got all fired up to hear that the match got delayed because we had to wait for the caster to open the streamX_X
But then the game starts!! It was an intense serie. I opened with my hellion banshee harras and got some damage done, yet to no avail and lost in the late game by getting caught off gaurd in the late game by a weird compo by dimmert, the second game was played on frost. After doing some damage to zerg early on I got my 4 base and trying to get my deathball which I love so much in this match up. A massive attack of ling bling ultra came in and deflected it with great ez, pushed out to kill his 5th and got that almost for free, hotkey'd my ravens and went back to my siege tanks, with seeing nothing else but a reason to put off my headset in sadness with all my tanks surrounded and cleaned up there was no way I could win the game anymore, and I gg'd out.

After that loss I had an AMAZING LAN and it was a ton of fun. The winner was somebody who you should all follow and see play tonight in WCS, named uThermal. The king of selfies.
After this ended we left to home and got the damn motivation to practice like a mad man again with a full week of online playing 25 games a day the results were quite suprising.
