So some weeks ago I ve made a blog about a job I was gonna take. I have been working 1 week now but there is a big issue I am dealing with.
First of all I like this job because I am alone, I can have my own breaks and it is an easy job. Also you work from 1st till 20th of each month and then you got 10 days free plus the pay is ok and you have insurance.
Now the crazy part is that from the 2nd day at work I started getting a bit anxious, 5th day I vomited before going to work and same thing happened 6th day which was yesterday. NOW the craziest thing is that today which I don't work, I vomited 2 times! and feeling a bit anxious as well for no reason.
I am good at work, my "boss" likes me and didn't say anything bad to me.
Now some things I would like to point out. The job is really tiring, you have to go up and down stairs and see around 250 families in total. each building has around 10-20. You walk a lot which is good exercise but the thing is my food pattern is NOT the healthiest.
I don't eat salads, I eat mostly meat/french fries and stuff like that. Might as well be im getting anxious cause my wife is expecting our first child soon!
So what do you guys think about all this and do you have any recommendations as to make it through? because I don't see me holding that job for more than a month if I keep having these symptoms!
oh I forgot to mention that when the day passes by and I am working these symptoms go away cause I know I have reached the goal of making around 220-250 visits and when work ends i am perfectly fine and have okish energy for a while.

Whenever you need medical assistance, go see an actual doctor.

Yea what he said.
Odds are good that it is stress and bad food habits. I had the same when i had to do my first internship as a paramedic, lost alot of weight because of poorly eating and drinking alot of coffee, at the end of my internship i felt like dying :D.
But yea man, go have some blood samples checked up and whatnot, if you are sure its not just from anxiety. Better be safe then sorry.
edit: Also, never take medical advice on the internet 100% granted. Maybe people will tell you its just the anxiety... but at the same time you could have a extremely high blood pressure, or who knows! If you made a post about this on the internet, that probably means you are worried about it, and that probably means that you should go talk with that doctor, aside from what the internet will tell you.

If i needed a doctor i would have other symptoms as well. Its not a medical issue as i have just been told by a dr.

Well, first try to find out what causes the vomiting. Is it stress and anxiousness? Try to find out why are you stressed if this is so. is it connected with the work or as you say an up and coming child? Think on it, making solution to a problem is first knowing its roots.
When you know for certain what causes vomiting and stress/anxiousness then we can proceed.

no doctor can say it's 100% not a medical issue if you haven't even had tests done. in fact, if you're throwing up due to anxiousness, it is a medical issue. I've been to a lot of doctors, and have had a lot of health problems in the past. sometimes they're right, and sometimes they're wrong. if you don't think you can hold your job with how you feel, you need to see someone who can help you with your problem. you may need to see a psychiatrist.
I have crohn's disease, stress and anxiety, even depression really mess me up too. when I was a kid they even forced to see a psychiatrist. mental problems are just as serious as physical ones, and shouldn't be taken lightly. if you're still having these problems, either find someone who can treat you, or find someone to refer you to someone who can. granted, this is all my opinion and I have no actual medical education.

if it goes away after you complete the 200+ visits, maybe it is stress. Like when you go in for a presentation, etc... given you don't vomit. Other thought is a stomach virus that you caught from one of the visits but less likely imo.

You might wanna edit that in bold at the top of the post. Most smart people are going to do exactly what itsjustatank just did.

Sounds like it could be a hydration issue. Are you drinking enough water? In intense jobs like that you tend to lose a lot of electrolytes and stuff. Try keeping the foods a bit lighter on your stomach and see if that helps.
