Your build order doesn't include any units (or times), and yet you're promoting 9 battlecruisers and a "ton of bunker, supply depot, widow mines and tanks defending your own RAMP"? Pretty sure you can't support all that on two bases, by the sixteen minute mark.
Also, you need a fusion core for this "diamond-level" battlecruiser rush.

Yeah, if it were Platinum-level, you'd only need to build the fusion core halfway. Gold? Forget about it, just get those BCs out!

@ DarkPlasmaBall I'm not understanding what you mean by "doesn't include any units or time" because on my video I mention that you need marines/mines to defend. The build order is not timed. It's more of 10/19 supply depot 12/19 barrack depending on how fast a player plays. Yes You can support all that in two bases. The video proves it. I also have 4 more replays that proves it. And yes you need fusion core, it looks like you haven't watched the video all the way lol.

I did watch the video, and it was really just a disorganized rush to battlecruisers against a Zerg player who stays on two bases (for no reason) until the 11 minute mark. -You had one bunker up with a few marines (and an incomplete wall) at the 8 minute mark. A rush would have killed you. You didn't even scout him enough to know if he was going to rush you or not. You have one barracks the whole game and then eventually you get only one factory. -Your build order is "- 10 Supply Depot - 12 Barrack - 15 Command Center" and then just go get some battlecruisers and hope for the best. That's not a build order. Your video actually shows that you can't afford more defense early on (especially gas-based defense like tanks) because you're saving up to drop 3 starports while still vulnerable to any kind of early attack. Your first (defensive) tank doesn't come out until after 13 minutes. -Even on just two (and later three) bases, your Zerg opponent was floating over a thousand resources throughout the majority of the game, and never made an army besides a few roaches. You didn't really scout him much, and he didn't scout you either, but what would you do against a player who actually macros well, occasionally scouts, and actually has anti-air?
+ Show Spoiler +I'm sorry if you think I'm being too critical of you, but I'm accustomed to reading clearer and more fleshed out build orders on TL, especially against halfway decent opponents.
Also, why do you call it Mengks?

@DarkPlasmaBall
Oh it's cool, I love to get critical comments. After all it's not like i'm a pro hahaha. Just sharing what's been successful to me and thought that it might helps other too! I also have a replay that defended off an early roach push, not sure what timing it was but it was just a bunker and a mine. Also have a replay of a Zerg who actually has a scary amount of Hydralisks and I was able to win with bcs and tanks along with position. I think I scouted him enough to prepare for Mutalisks, looked for Hydra Den and Spire along with his Hive. I should of done more patrolling on the edge to prevent scouting. And I've also realize that in US server, not a a lot of Zerg like to do early pushes, so that's why it also works. But that's just my experience.
I also think I scouted him enough to have info if he's going to rush. I think I mention on the video that you need to scout for early aggression so that way you can throw down whatever you need to defend.
What is the definition of a build order?
My video, as I hope to show you that you can't afford tanks unless you have a 3rd base up, that's why I said you should try get a 3rd out. Otherwise you will have to rely on mines, marines, and bunker for defense. After pumping out the first 3 BattleCruiser, that's where you can decide to pump out tanks or mines depending on what you're scouting.
And as I mention after the video, I have tried this on Master league recently after this video was posted out. I said that it isn't as reliable in the higher league because they're better at scouting and macroing, BUT it has gotten me into the Master league, so it's a strategy that gets you into the master league and start practicing whatever build you want ^_^
I call it Mengks, because Mengks is a figure of cunning/indirect/unpredictable and just total domination when you're pushing out. Sorry if my Accent wasn't clear on the video.
Thank you for your criticism.

BTW its MENGSK not MENGKS

Thanks for posting. To the haters--this was posted in blogs, not in strategy. Because he respects the strategy section enough to know that the quality here is not quite on that level, I can only thank Bboy for providing free content.
Plus, BCs are fun.

@ Mr. Black
Thanks man! Exactly what I had in mind. ^_^

not hating, that just can't work against an actual Diamond zerg. I watched the replays and saw many times 12-15 roaches would have crushed you all the way up to 14 minutes and the z never even went 3 base(not diamond.) but I definitly agree that bcs are fun. maybe just need a safer way to tech to them.
