Awesome character Jack. However, remember that you shouldn't be loyal to Derethal, in fact you should probably have some reason to hate him. As a disciple you have pledged to destroy all Angels and Demons because you reject their authority and their presence, otherwise you wouldn't be a disciple, you would simply be a halfbreed in the service of an Angel. So try to work into your back story why you split from Derethal's guidance and why you were recruited into the cabal by your Vicar.

A strong tie to a specific Angel is still awesome though, and makes for an extremely interesting character, so don't feel you have to change that.

I imagine a pretty damn badass vicar, but I suppose that could come in any form. Sven's suggestion sounds pretty good to me, a spooky witch doctor type of guy with scary powers. Mute and artistic would be funny, but so would a really, really squeaky voice. Just saying.

I can do that. I was going to do it in my Vicar voice (whatever that turns out to be), but if you would like some reading and planning and gatling gun polishing to do I can post something in here. It would be fun to write up and I can easily do other dialogue with the Vicar on Sunday.

Well, if we take my idea, our vicar communicates by drawing stuff. So logically, our mission briefing would be a set of pictures. Now of course you can just describe them, it was just a random thought.

Oh yeah I have a series of pictures if that is the Vicar we end up with, as that is the way he communicates, way ahead of you. But people are split and there is no majority favouring one Vicar or another. If there is no discussion or further voicing of opinion by Sunday I'll assume people are happy with your dude.
