We used to be a cook in various shabby restaurants, a bouncer, a repair man, whatever kept us going. We never settled down for long, always moving on, looking for something. Murgel, you should read the post detailing the character generation, we get a bit more stuff then in the players handbook. So basically, you get more shit, both stats and money.

The above is correct Murgel. Re-roll that fantastic money score with 3d8 instead of d12, also add two more points between Violence/Magic and two more points between Reflex/Traction/Instinct. As for the suicidal-drifter-Murderist character, 2 thumbs up.

Though i might get a megaphone, that is a lot more useful then a cellphone in any reasonable situation.

And everyone should get Nephilim, then we can just fly around and capture a helicopter.

I was trying to find a third mouth themed spell that I could hopefully use successfully, but no luck, so yeah, went with helicopter 'rasslin.

Important question: Do we want to stick with the turn order system Pandemonio uses, or go by initiative order? The choose which ally acts system is fine, but pretty much invalidates everyone's initiative rolls except whoever was the highest. The problem with initiative order is that we could end up with situations like; Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, 20 bad guys all at once, Player 4, Player 5. Up to you guys.

I like the "2 allies at a time" thing. I don't really have a problem with the fact that most players initiative does not matter, but if that is something you wish to change, you could just go "2 highest players, 2 highest (still living) enemies, 2 next players, etc..."

Background question, are we going by the classic "So you guys basically were in the same area, became crazy magic and the vicar kinda swooped by, grabbed you guys and started training you into a cell"?

You all had a run in with the supernatural in some way, you can choose the specifics. Maybe an Angel slaughtered your family, or a Demon possessed you and made you do it yourself. Whatever happened everyone you knew is likely dead, and your Vicar swooped in at the last moment and rescued you. Your encounter unlocked something inside you, some kind of unnatural power, and you have spent the months being trained by your Vicar in how to harness that power. He also taught you how to do cool stuff like throwing ninja stars and how the human femur can be the deadliest weapon of all. In return you have pledged to use this power to protect innocent humans who cannot protect themselves by destroying the monsters who would do them harm.

Your Vicar rescued you from anywhere in the world you like, and brought you back to Australia where your base is somewhere in the desert in the middle of nowhere. You and all the other disciples were rescued (or perhaps cursed) around the same time and have gone on a few monster slaying missions.

Hm, i just noticed that i could buy a military helicopter. That is surprisingly tempting. On the other hand, if i need a military helicopter, i could always just go grand theft helicopter. Noone expects to get helicopterjacked while flying around. Hm.

Ooooor if someone wants to chime in we could buy a tank for 30. Does our team need a tank?

Since we are in the middle of a desert, we probably need some sort of transportation.

Of course, i could also just get a heavy machine gun and a bastard sword. That superhuman strength has got to be useful for something. Plus i find the idea of a middle aged woman drawing a gatling gun out of her coat exceedingly funny.

Not sure a gatling gun fits under a coat. At least it would be quite conspicuous. As for transportation you guys can have motorcycles again. Or muscle cars. Or anything else if someone has a cool idea and I approve of it. A military helicopter will not be approved, however if you all put your money together of course you can buy one.

Well, i am already pretty voluminous, so maybe one wouldn't notice the man-sized machine gun under my coat?

And i wouldn't need anyone else to buy a military helicopter, i rolled an 18 on my money roll. I am tempted to buy one and never let anyone else fly in it, so they have to walk everywhere while i take my stylish copter. But yeah, probably not going to buy one.
