Occasional abdominal pain when urinating?

okay i'm 24 years old, and i'd say for 10+ years i would get this super occasional (like a few times a year) sharp pain deep in my abdomen when I urinate. well actually its not just when i urinate... when i'm just testing the muscles to urinate (hope that makes sense) i can feel the pain a little more. and sometimes theres a slight pain (not enough to make me uncomfortable) when i'm just doing nothing.

any one know if this is normal? or something i should be worried about? i always never thought much of it whenever it happened since it would just go away after like half an hour or an hour but it just happened this morning and since i'm getting older i guess it's time to start thinking about my health more...

i'd go to the doctor, but i just moved into a new place and only just started living on my own, so there are some things i need to figure out about getting a doctor and all that.

dont think its anything to worry about, i get a sharp pain sometimes low in my abdomen(i guess?) a few times a year too and have since i was a kid and as far as i know theres nothing wrong with me

has the pain increased recently or something? If it's been 10 years behaving the same way I wouldn't be too worried unless something changes or the pain lasts for a longer period of time.

i dont know anything about them but maybe kidney stones?

IMO its worth seeing a doctor

(doubt its anything if its occasional)

A few times a year...and over ten years? And not being strictly when you urinate, the only thing I can think of is possibly a bad case of gas.

From what Ive seen/heard kidney stones hurt like fuck though. To a near unbearable extent. Cant hurt getting checked ofcourse but doubt its this.

I think it might be gas.

One time I got pee constipated and couldn't pee for about 2 hours even though I really had to go. Eventually I just farted a bunch and then I was good to go.

I think that only happens to me when I've been holding it for a long time, or if I have to go pretty bad and I've been slouching the wrong way in my chair.

Probably a kidney stone. I was about 25 when I had the same sort of thing. It started out as some occassional thing, but came to a head at some point where I guess they dislodged and actually started affecting me. It was fairly painful for about a week until I peed them out. Since then I haven't had an issue.
