EPTI wanted to start a new type of blog here. I've been an avid lurker for years, and have read the blogs a bit. I know that there are no rules for the blogs here and i've seen some pretty creative ones. I wanted to create a blog about Home Improvement. Even though gaming is still an active passion of mine, lately i've been getting caught up with all sorts of "grown up" stuff and alot of that has been renovations/improvements on the house. I know there are tons of other forums to share this stuff with, but i thought it might be cool to share it here, before i get started, heres a little about me.
-I recently turned 30, which makes me about twice as old as the general population on this forum. I'm part of the generation that grew up with online games as being the new thing. and i'm sure there are atleast a handful of others here.
-My career is not in building/construction/renovation at all, Every project i tackle in this blog will be done with basically no experience, I work in an office and sit on my ass all day. This is part of the reason i'm posting this here and not on a construction forum, i'm basically an amateur, likely doing things the wrong way, and am much more of a techie. i just wouldnt get along with anyone there!
-I'm married, hopefully my wife won't be a factor in this plug, but her input does come into play when making certain renovation decisions.
-I have no kids, if i did, i probably wouldnt be able to do any of this fun shit.
How can you contribute?
Any advice, suggestions etc, i'll do my best to ask questions and answer yours when available, likely alot of the projects i may post about might already be completed, but we'll see.
any feedback at all, unless it involves me doing alot more work or undoing something i've already done, then its probably best to just keep your mouth shut!
