+ Show Spoiler +listening to ForGG's stream so just random kpop!
Well today was a very very long day. The day started with my brother complaining that he didnt get enough time to study because mum told him to go to bed or some crap like that. But basically he is making excuses for the test he was going to have today. He is not doing that well, and mum said this would be his last year at school if he doesnt get a B average. That is a bit heartbreaking for me watching my brother struggle like that. But he is generally a happy guy and it didnt phase him too much, so i think he will be fine (he did cry a little though )
But he is a hell of a Call of Duty player. And even though he is not that talented at RTS he tries to get good at SC2 because i play it <3 I just hope he will find motivation soon or find a career/trade that he enjoys...
anyways, nothing dramatic really happened in school today, but i am starting to realise how much work i need to do in order to succeed. There is so much HW and study that needs to be done, and considering i am in my final year i should really be getting on to it virtually every minute of the day. But i guess i like relaxing? haha i dont know...But i really have to pick up my game...
After school we had our english test where the whole year sat it at the same time. it went for 2 hours, and i did not have any energy at the start. But I really kept thinking of my last blog and how pro gamers overcome difficulties to pursue their dreams. So if MVP could overcome his wrist problems to make it to Ro4, then i could finish that language analysis!
After that I got home and have been doing nothing until about now...8:30
I have a chem test tomorrow so i guess i will start revising...but did a lot over the weekend....ah jee not only is school tough now, but life problems as well T_T...
im really tired...monster should do the trick! (I used to get them from KFC...now i will have to pay for them T_T) AHHHHHHH it feels good to write about this stuff...
while im at it i just want to say that i joined the debating team at the start of the year. We have had 2 debates and i havent spoke (there is about 6 people on our team and only 3 people speak) and next debate is secret topic (you get the topic 1 hour prior, and write your speech)
I am really really questioning my ability to debate...mainly because i have never debated before LOL. They are sending e mails now asking who is available and i just feel like saying i am too bus that day...
I really want to follow the advice 'try everything/dont say no to anything' but i am just too scared to try it. And i know that some people say try it anyway, but im shit at public speaking and i get nervous. If i have to write a speech in an hour and speak it, as well as rebut, ill just die.
I do like to try everything, but now i understand that everything only means the things 'you' are willing to do and have a genuine interest in...i dont think debating is for me T_T

Hey man! I'm a fellow teenager (I'm sure we both know this). My next year is my final year in secondary school, or as you would call it, high school. I suffer from the same problems as you I guess - studying. Do you study using any online materials? If you would like you can add me on Skype so we can share some material. Although, I guess that depends on what we study, not forgetting that we come from 2 vastly different education systems. I'm 15, and I'm guessing you're 15/16?
I used to debate as well and got into a national debate competition. If you wanna add me on Skype we can also have mini-debates as well, it's gonna be pretty fun if we do I think!
Cheers!

Nobody is good at public speaking. At least not naturally. It's a completely natural human reaction to get nervous when you are going to have a speech or presentation for an audience. Just do that shit and practice it, it gets much easier. I'm far from a gifted speaker myself but over the course of my studies/career I have done a lot of presentations so now I can hold my own when speaking in public, even if the audience is 100+..
