So last blog I uploaded a replay in which I felt really good about. Many of you who commented told me I need to be more aware of the map. Although not particularly specific, that advice has helped me a lot. I think next season, if I win the placement match, I am dead set in masters. I'm starting to completely ROLL terrans. ZvP is still only about 60% winrate, but ZvT is at like 75%. ZvZ is by far my worst matchup, I either 14/14 baneling all in, 7p all in (lol on korhal only, hate that map), and 15 hatch into roach hydra 2base 2/2 timing. I don't really understand the matchup, to say the least.

Anyway, here's a replay that I rolled a terran in. Comments on my play would be much appreciated, and constructive criticism would be much better than "you suck" :D.

Congrats on getting close to masters ^^ The best advice I can give someone who's trying to get from high diamond into master league is very simple: have 1 and only 1 gameplan per matchup per map, and always play that way. You will actually see improvement by doing the same thing each time, and probably promote faster because you're focusing on only 3 things, for the most part.

For ZvP, I mainly do an 11 overpool 18 hatch into mass roach festor on 3base, with around 20 lings for runbys.
ZvT is 15 hatch 16g 15p into ling bane festor
ZvZ is just... anything really. I don't know what to do at all.

Yeah, so maybe find just any build, and go with that for ZvZ. Since you like all inning, maybe try 10gas 10pool speedling all in? The build I do is as follows:
10 gas
10 pool
10 overlord
pull off @100 gas
1 pair of zerglings
queen
zerglings up to 17 supply
17 OL
zerglings til the end of time

And micro around banes.

Since it's a 10/10, your speed finishes faster than your opponent's.

Im glad your getting close to masters. Its always good to know that there are players trying to improve.

You dont think you couldve came up with a more creative name though for the blog? Everyone that makes a blog about getting to a higher league is named "My road to ____ (insert league)"

^^ same. I was doing fine and thought I would be promoted, then I went on a loss streak to a bunch of low to mid diamond players

^my battle.net profile. I just had an extremely terrible loss streak. Today I'm 6-1 though so hopefully I'll be able to somewhat reverse the damage done. I only need 8 more wins til 750 as zerg so im def gonna play today until i get that. Probably will play more afterwards

hahaha this is always the kind of idea that brings me doom... 'ok just five more wins today! that's all!' and then you lose six in a row and you're like 'fffuuuuuu... this is going to take years' and it's horrible =/ good luck though! I agree with the advice someone above me gave when they said focus on one build per matchup - especially for zvz, which you say is your worst matchup, it could help to just learn one build. It'll still feel weaker than your other matchups for a while but it's better than feeling weak and compounding it by not knowing your build.
