So, a few of you have probably read my last blog and most of you probably think "not another one of these fail blogs", but I have yet to give up my journey to master and eventually becoming a pro. This week is my spring break, so I will be playing a LOT every day and streaming (www.twitch.tv/frostfire630).
My current status has yet to change much, I am still top 8 diamond and am getting about a 50% winrate, but I feel this week will help a lot. I have adjusted all of my builds slightly and have gotten tips from masters players about how to deal with things.
I will be streaming every day probably starting around 12pm EST to whenever.

All criticism is much appreciated but please keep the "lol u suck" and "lol give up retard" comments to yourself. As I have stated before, I have started playing more and no, i'm not dropping everything to achieve this improbable dream.
I realize this is a very common dream and very few people achieve it but I will try.

I wish I was close d: top 8 diamond is really far away from masters, I've only met around 5 on ladder.

You should use Stephano's style in ZvZ, its very easy to play or a lot easier to play than actually counter it. I cannot give suggestions vs P/Z

Hitting master league (on NA I assume) and "going pro" are 2 entirely different things. I'd consider myself a casual player, and I've been in master league since a week after it launched.
Don't try to go pro. Seriously. Do something real with your life. Don't throw 100s if not 1000s of hours away on the game. Play for fun, nothing more.
That's my 2 cents.

Indeed, that's why I said "masters, then eventually master league". I'm not throwing anything away at this. I have straight A's in school, so two roads are open for my life. I will mantain a high GPA, as well as trying this.

I am also diamond, and as soon as school lets out in a few weeks for me, I will be spending a lot of time laddering and looking for that promotion.  My own goal is masters, and improving in skill enough to feel comfortable entering some small tournaments for fun.

Well just realize that after you get to masters it will take you another year or two before you even get good enough to PLAY the pros... Probably another year or so to be pro, so as long as you have that much time and that much commitment good luck to you buddy!!!

hmm if thats your "best play ever" i would say you will not make it into the masters league
you got overmins the whole game since the 7 minute mark (where you made 5 overlords!) it seems like some of his drops you didnt even recognize and lost like 20 drones to a dropship. you didnt really scout. what if there would have been cloak banshees e.g.?
your opponent was right asking "do you only make roaches no matter what?!"
thats just some negative points. finally you played pretty decent. gg

Also, he asked if I always did because we played 2 games before that where he went mech and I went roach/festor. The drop that did a ton of damage lategame was due to my thought process being "If I go back now, I'll save some of my buildings. If I stay here, he'll have even less of a chance due to my having 4 bases to his 2, crippling half of his econ is much more important than half of mine.
Also, thanks for not just saying "lol ur never gonna make it", knowing reasons for playing badly is the only way to improve c:
