It was pretty much same for me as for the op, I think if you hide without any protection and just crouch and look at the corner or is in it's path it wont disappear. | ||

Have only seen small parts of Day9s playthrough, but I don't think you can keep it off if it has the possibility of going around the barrel and eating your face. It was only because of the small choke. I asked my friend it's possible to find it. If I can I will post it, but I doubt it | ||

In the end I became totally insane and fell down on the floor shaking while listening to some really high pitched noise and then the monster left. I bet he knew I was there :V | ||
