Yes you can die, what makes it scary (imo) is the tension of it being so goddamn dark and these bloody things could appear anywhere... then you've just gotta crouch down in the dark and hope they don't see you. I didn't know what the hell this one was doing behind me, and I really didn't wanna turn around and look If they see you they kill you in two hits. | ||

It was pretty much same for me as for the op, I think if you hide without any protection and just crouch and look at the corner or is in it's path it wont disappear. | ||

Wasn't on his first playthrough though, so he's sort of ok with the scary stuff X_X. Was looking pretty sick, although I think the video of it is gone from own3d.tv | ||

Have only seen small parts of Day9s playthrough, but I don't think you can keep it off if it has the possibility of going around the barrel and eating your face. It was only because of the small choke. I asked my friend it's possible to find it. If I can I will post it, but I doubt it | ||
