Anyhow, since I got 118 APM in this particular game (the new one, so it's effective APM) and it was pretty hectic, I thought I'd share it with you guys.
Little Description
I opened with my classic 13 Gas 13 Pool and scouted my opponent on the first Drone position. I immediately encountered his Zerglings which was a signal for some sort of early Pool - that's not a problem and I usually cover it with ease with my own Zerglings / Banelings.
The fun began when this dude got his speed rather quickly and all of a sudden I got swarmed by a seemingly endless shitload of Zerglings. They ate my Zerglings, they didn't let my Banelings finish, they scared my Queen and they killed my Drones, what a nasty company.
I eventually recovered, our Drone count got equal and when he exchanged a lot of Banelings for pretty much nothing, I was confident enough to push - it resulted in little to no losses on either side and I've taken his expansion out.
And it is this when I got cocky and decided to go entirely all-in. I threw up Lair, got quick Burrow, Glial and began +1 Attack with a prospect of +2. Got a nearly perfect saturation of 21 Drones and just pumped Roaches with the prospect of outmicroing the dude with Burrow.
I am a fool. I had 100% with this strategy but you have to have approximately 4-5 Drones in addition to slowly create an upcash for your own expo. This foolish mistake allowed him to get a few Drones ahead and keep the Roach count even.
Aaaand finally, when I thought "hey, time to get an Infestation pit", he moved out with 4 Infestors, yay. Despite my insane quick plan to ambush those bastards it wasn't enough to prevent 2 extremely solid Fungals and since his Upgrades were also better, I had to gg.
