Although this is only my 500th post I have lurked on TL for a good 6-7 years now but never bothered to make an account or post anything. That being said I recognize a lot of people who have no idea who I am
I am currently the manager for the team Flow Gaming on sc2 and I couldn't be happier with the group of guys I have playing for me. We've had our share of rocky moments, the most recent being my house getting infested with fleas and I had to live somewhere else for almost 2 weeks while it was fumigated... only to come back and have most of them still alive on the 1st floor of the house.
I've played and enjoyed starcraft as long as I can remember. Starting in early 2001 and learning the game from the person I will always consider to be my coach, Isolatee]i[ and from a player I "communicated" with on Brain Clad who I owe a great deal to and is the reason I continue to play Protoss to this day. + Show Spoiler +
I say "communicated" because I knew no korean and he did not know much english.
On a note that does not involve Starcraft at all I dropped out of highschool in grade 12 and joined the Canadian Forces. Went through basic training and loved it! Although, St. Jean sur Richelieu is where Hell would be on Earth if I could pick a place =p lol Sorry Torte! ^^ I know how close it is to Montreal as I could see the skyline from my prison... er... rooms window on the 12th floor of the giant building.
I unfortunately handed in my VR + Show Spoiler +
Voluntary Release
I plan to move to Seattle shortly and give my all to starting a business with a person I barely know yet will put my full trust in. As I am only 20 (turning 21 on September 2nd) I figure what the hell why not... not much to lose and quite a bit to gain.
At this point I'd like to apologize if this blog is quite dry and is boring I realize this may be the case and would like to thank those of you who have read this far! The rest will be dedicated to my team and our ambitions and I invite anybody who is interested in playing with high master players to PM me for my ID and character code, I love to coach (for free) and have done so with a player named Juliette who often posts on TL as well. I started to train Juliette from Bronze to Diamond and the process took about 3 months. Now however I believe Juliette could be masters with one last push! I've also started helping players like Emerica, Aldin, and FacetiousQ with their game play.
I went off track again x.x My team is very involved! I have an extremely talented Caster named Katu (streams using the name KatuStarcraft) who I'm sure some of you have seen before. I wish for him to do his best during this MLG!
I also have the captain for Purdue's starcraft team Mokomi who just joined our ranks. if anybody from that school is interested in getting more involved I invite them to PM me or just go check out the club! Starcraft is definitely a good way to get to know people around you and make some very good friends in the process.
HeavOnEarth although his visit was short. I learned quite a bit about PvZ from the now Grand Master KiwiClone army player. speaking of KiwiClone army. I haven't talked to Kawaii since I was on In-Flow in broodwar and the loveable Daemonicus played with us. lol was on M]o[H with Selbon as well actually...
My god I get off point easily lol. I suppose this is really much longer than I had hoped and I still have so much I would like to stay but don't really know how. Thank you to those of you who will read through this rambling blog. Good Luck to all players at MLG! if any of you beat Katu I won't forgive you! lol <3
Edit for MLG: + Show Spoiler +
Katu made me proud. Taking out RGNfuture in round 1 and making it into round 3 of the winners bracket before getting knocked down by Orly. He gave his best and I'm happy that he played pretty well for having such a long drive
