Tried it for the first time after shopping at a Korean supermarket here. I've only heard of it because of our Translator Hero.
If you ever get the chance. Try it. Seriously. I bought one bottle, then went back to the supermarket to buy 2 more. ^^
On another note. That picture was taken with my new camera, a Sony Cybershot HX9, in preparation for my trip to Korea!
I leave in two days... wtf. It hasn't hit me yet. I'm packing, and hoping I don't forget anything. I still need to get a power converter...
Super good news, I should be able to get first class on the ride over, since my aunty said it's wide open ^^ (Yay for flight attendant relatives *Hawaiian Airlines)
I'll be staying at the Incheon Airport Bridge Hotel from Aug 22 (when I land) to Aug 24 (when I go back to the airport to get picked up by a limo to go to school @ Korea University: Sejong)
During that time... free reign in Seoul. I'll probably catch a bus or taxi to Seoul then play tourist all of Tuesday.
Tuesday night... I play to go watch GSL!
After checking the schedule, I'll be able to watch MMA vs Optimus, Bomber vs Keen, Zenio vs TOP and Genius vs Virus.
Sadly I think the best matches are going to be Wednesday night when I'll already be at school. :[
(MVP vs Nestea, HuK vs NaDa, Puzzle vs Ryung, HongUn vs July OMGG so QQ)
I'll try to take many photos and get some TL shoutouts/cheerfuls on cam ^^
(As well as snag photos with some players and the sexy casters)
In the meantime, just trying to soak up as much Hawaiian sun and food as I can get as I prepare to embark on my long awaited Korean journey.
I'll keep you all posted!

Pink strawberry milkis, had it at the big observatory tower in Korea as a kid and have been drinking it since.

Yea milkis tastes good. The only problem I have with the drink is that I feel like it forms phlegm in my throat after I drink it -_-.

I had a can of Milkis, tastes like Calpis? that Jap white drink, with added fizz. So it's alright I guess.
I also first tried it because of Milkis, back when he was covering the KeSPA/Blizzard stuff last year.

If it's like Calpis than Pocari Sweat is def better. I could drink 100 bottles of that but Calpis gets old after a while.

I like Milkis too :D My favorite drink at the moment is that 'Dream of Ceylon Tea' stuff though.

asian supermarkets almost always carry calpico, at least where I live

go to any korean-town, they have tons of milkis in the states

I just bought a few cans of it today (the market I was at only sold packs of it ...), and it kind of tastes like Sprite to me. Maybe a little lighter with a slight hint of cream, but ... hm. I dunno how I feel about it. It's nice to drink, but I wouldn't necessarily go for it over cream soda if given a choice.

The supermarkets in Hawaii carry predominantly Japanese stuff, so Milkis is a little more difficult to find vs. Calpico and Pocari.
