Our game starts with the usual exchanges. The Zerg player decides to go for a 15 pool followed by a fast bane nest considering the map is Shakuras Plateau. Quite possible that he was worried about heavy marine pressure and thought that with a couple of banes, he'll at least be able to punish the Terran player if he tries.

Our Terran decides to forgo pressure and expands as fast as possible blocking his entrance with 3 rax incase of any bane busts.

The Zerg player scouts the 3 rax and decides to exp as well to prevent himself from falling behind eco-wise. He places slings+banes outside his opponent's base to determine when the Terran moves out and splits them up to cover all possible directions and to try to get a surround.

The Terran player having a slight eco lead starts to power hardcore will all the extra minerals that he has saved. 2 more rax with a tech lab/reactor are added as well as 2 starports with reactors.

In the meantime, his opponent is still macroing up, making drones and taking his third base. Quite interesting to note his structure placement and how they seem to form a line down leading to the lair.

With not much mutas on the field, our Terran player takes this opportunity to do some drops. A double drop is in progress as 2 medivacs fly towards the main at the bottom middle and another drop is flying towards the third at the top.

Dropping both at the same time, he's taken by surprise but manages to move his drones out of harm's way in his main ignoring his 3rd. The terran player seizes the opportunity to take out structures that can pose a problem later on i.e. infestation pit and pool.

Finally having enough units, the Zerg player tries to get a surround with some slings+drones+queen but with some micro on the Terran's part, the Zerg player's attack is repelled until roaches join his ranks at which point it was determined that the drop has accomplished it's purpose.

As can be seen, the other drop has accomplished its purpose taking out the third :D Aside from that, the Terran player has reduced the drone count by 17 and has also managed to kill a lot of units barely losing any in the process.

Less than 50 seconds later, there is another double drop in the main and exp. The Zerg player loses a couple more drone but is able to pull them back in his main while he tries to clean up his exp.

Deciding to be a nuisance, the Terran drops his last remaining marines from the second drop into the 3rd to clean up the remaining 2 extractors and notices the new hatchery in progress.

At this point, a lot of eco damage has been done and the eco has somewhat equalized for both players(42 to 44 workers). The Terran starts to move out using the rax+saved scans to scout what's ahead and he sieges past the 2 towers leap frogging tanks as fast as possible to prevent the Zerg from reinforcing his existing army.

Scouting the push using an OL, a roach split has been done to try to get a surround when the engagement takes place.

As the Terran baits the roaches out, the Zerg decides that it's time to engage. With some stimming and stutterstepping back to the tank line, the Terran manages to clean up the Zerg's forces convincingly.

Moving into the Zerg's exp, the Terran is met with a nice slings+bane army and manages to lose a couple of marines.

At this point, the Terran seems to have the game in hand. He seizes the opportunity and attacks the exp relentlessly with only marines taking out a lot of drones then the third exp.

Realizing that it's not over yet, the Terran scans the Zerg's main to find out that a couple of banes+BLs are being morphed.

With a tank sieged on the lower ground, the Terran engages the last remaining forces of the Zerg. He is able to repel the banes with minimal damage and starts to concentrate on the BLs.

Against any overwhelming force, the Zerg player is forced to conceit defeat but not before BMing his opponent.

Replay:

A bit longer than the last and more pics since I wanted to show the drops and how effective they were, etc.... I dunno if it stacks to the other PvsZ in terms of writing style, so, I'll let you guys be the judge. Would say it's a bit more exciting than the last one but should've harassed a lot earlier than the drops but decided to just macro up for once XD I wanted to mention that I know I overused Terran and Zerg player but I dunno what else to say. That and I forgot to go fullscreen since I took these pics a couple of days back :p

Lol, 5 stars just for the ending, too perfect. although that did take a while to read =O

gotta love NA ladder bm (dont actually know if your on NA, but ive had alot of similar experiences on the ladder XP)

Sorry, I wrote this a couple of days back when I first played the game and refined it changing the style and such now. I wanted to show everything that was happening from both sides so it was longer than my last, but, I can cut them down if others think it's too long

Yep, NA ladder, I've only started to get some recently, but, I don't mind. To me, it's my opponent saying GG in his own way XD

haha, maybe

Usually whenever I get a new exp, I make lots of workers then slack off XD I guess that was the case there, but, I've hit easily 100 with Z before and 62 or so is my best with Terran

I also concentrate on my harass so my macro kinda slips but working on it

Lol NA is soo BM. 80% of people ragequit, and tons of people rage at you if you win. Especially zergs.

Maybe I'm lucky, but, the worst I got was the one above and maybe 2-3 other comments but otherwise most just quit with no gg. That's fine by me since I've done it before XD

What i dont understand, is why do you have the mature language filter on?

Otherwise this was nice, always good to see a battle report

tbh, I had no clue you could remove it, just like I had no clue on how to go full screen XD Thanks for the comment, I'm look into removing it
