Does anyone know why they do this? I am sure it's not that great for their brand and I really doubt people will buy because of an 8c saving. In fact I think some people will be turned off and not buy simply because of that.

If an item goes on sale, it should be at least a 10% minimum of the original price. I don't know why they don't already have a system like that in place.

At a supermarket near me there are a few items that are always on sale for like 10 cents of.... so the sign says something like: ~~$2.09~~$1.99.

That is what I'm reminded of here... a perpetual sale isn't a sale lol... it's bullshit marketing.

Yeah I see this a lot too! I always like to buy stuff on sale so this always bothers me. It's also annoying when the sale price goes up after a week
