ok, so after a month without any reply i decided to go a step further. to not get completely confused you should read the whole blog entry!
first of all, lemme start from the beginning:
i became a registered member here, like many ppl, with the launch of sc2. i was already browsing through tl.net after watching an awesome bw game in 2003 by accident. and i was totally fine with only browsing til the launch of sc2. registering was probably something i shouldn't have done, even more considering that my posts were not really that good of a quality nor were my threads.
now i lately switched focus in many things of my life, including gaming. don't get me wrong, i really am thankful that i found tl.net and its (usually) nice community but i'm done here.
the only thing i ask for now is to get permabanned. why? let that be my problem if i could've deleted that acc on my own i wouldn't even have dared to waste any of the mods time here. now before many of you start out typing something like: "just simply don't care about the account anymore" or "just type in a random pw and let it fade out"...just don't!
i'm well aware i will never be able to contribute to tl.net anymore and i'm totally fine with it.
now that this is written...let's get back to the start. why did i even make that - many may say - useless blog? first - to say thx for all the nice input and the cool connections i made here! second - i used to write a nice (and i really mean nice!) message to 3(!) mods to ban me with assuring that i am well aware of the consequences, because i didn't really want to piss anyone here of to get the ban. (not at the same time of course. only after one didn't answer for more than one week)
so jibba, zatic and manifesto7...since you didn't answer - would a mod please permanently ban me now?
thx a lot ahead and gl in the future, teamliquid.net!
ps...my additional question still remains unanswered too: do my liquipedia and ts³ accounts get banned too? if so, awesome! if not, what's the procedere there?
pps...i asked for the permaban since i think to have read somewhere that accounts don't get deleted here, right? if the deletion is an alternative now though, i would appreceate it!
I always wondered why people bother to ask for permabans and then wait weeks for something to happen. I'm surprised that nobody has ever taken a more creative approach like opening a new thread in the general forum and quoting this song in the OP:
Good Luck! I wouldn't want to get perm banned, but instead just take a leave of absence. Of course, the choice is yours. Hopefully the things you switched will turn out to be very prosperous for you.

as i said...the community and especially most ppl in charge here are quite nice and it's not a ragequit from my side, so i really don't wanna be rude or something
Why would you rather be perma banned though? You could just leave, and if you ever want to come back, you have that option.. I've seen people who ban themselves because they have to focus on exams and such because they don' think they can stop coming back, but I think trying to perma ban yourself seems harsh. It's like you keeping an old N64 or SNES, because although you might not have played it for many years, you still have that option. I have to use that metaphor as I'm a big fan of those games. I see your reasoning and it makes sense but there is always a chance....
it feels kinda silly wishing you luck to get perma-banned.
Until you get banned just use all the self-control you can muster and don't come back! Really! I hope you never do for your sake! lol but I mean if you can pull that off it won't matter if you get banned or not, you'll never notice, and everything will work out for the better ^^
