I would just like to take the time to say this.
The games been out for nearly a year and the only new portraits have been a lame tauren thing (That you can't get anymore), a frog thing (That you can't get anymore) a bug thing, a Protoss Chef and a Protoss with lots of bling. Anyone else thinks that kind of lame? Not only are none of those really cool (Except Toss Bling Guy) but none of them are Terran! At least Toss and Zerg have a good amount of decent pics, Terran only gets the battlecruiser guy that looks cool (The ghost is cool too but every one is using it so I'm sick of it). Valarian is kind of hot but I don't like his hair. The thor guy looks old enough to be my grandpa (Who is dead btw) and everyone who uses the thor portrait allins me on the ladder.
I mean seriously, why is the 1k wins award for Terran just a reskin of Kerrigan, of who's portrait is pretty easy to get? I mean, shes an ugly bitch:

I mean seriously look at that mug. Those lips are way too big and make her look like a monkey. Her face isn't centered either, and if you wanted to go by the Rule of Thirds then her face is STILL slightly offcentered from the 2/3 mark. It makes me cringe just to look at it. The background is pretty crap too, the blurry blue just makes it look depressing.
All of the Terran team game portraits are crap as well. The medic is +1 on the medivac but that's about it.
I would write a letter to Blizzard to add at least 200 more portraits, but they would probably just buff broodlords in response just to troll me.
PS If any of you use the Cade portrait please switch it to something else, whenever I see it on the ladder I have to block the person instantly just because I get pissed off. I don't know why but that's how it works (no im not racist x.x)

You can always get 500 team wins as terran and get Dustin Browder portrait.

that portrait makes her look ugly. Also, it has a resemblance to the original Kerrigan which pisses me off.
BTW, I force my teammates to use the Cade portrait in team games. and we all pick zerg.
also I use the Reaper portrait cause Reapers are cool

Nova is my favorite portrait actually. I don't play terran though so that makes me sad.

The terran team portraits are the worst. 750 team wins? Wraith. 1000 terran team wins? Diamondback... what the? Couldn't they have used more of the terran mercenary portraits like the Loki?
Compared to the zerg or protoss who got badass heros for their 750 wins and 1000 wins like the overmind, leviathan, selendis and artanis.

Seriously? Why even mention this when there's no rational explanation for this and if what you say is correct and you're not a racist.
FYI, he's just a black guy who I think either appears as a minor character onboard the Hyperion in the campaign or doesn't appear in the campaign at all. I don't see anything rage inducing about him at all.
Also, Nova is hot, and who gives a crap if the model seems like a reskin of Kerrigan's portrait. Both the Nova and Kerrigan portraits are pretty difficult and time consuming to obtain.

Yeah, protoss portraits are the really sucky ones for 1v1... I think the Ghost, the Thor and the BC are pretty badass, zerg has the hydralisk which is arguably the best one in the game but all the protoss ones look dumb up to Tassadar which is not dumb but boring. Artanis and the archon are probably the best but they are from team games and would take a stupid amount of grinding and some random picture is hardly worth the trouble.

Tychus is pretty awesome imo (he should be 1k wins)
but yeah in general, terran portraits suck. Only relatively cool one is the ghost and the firebat. Battlecruiser for 750wins is meh :<
Diablo Marine is probably the coolest portrait ever but its a CE only ,_,

kerrigan's is a reskin of nova, not the other way round, proof? kerrigan in game looks NOTHING like the portrait, whereas nova does.

Vulture portrait isn't too bad; the goggles are there and it looks like Bruce Willis killed the guy and took over the bike.

Thatcher is definately the best portrait out there, so underrated IMO.

I like the Baneling and Ultralisk portraits.  But Leviathan and Overmind...
I also like the Battlecruiser, Ghost and Diamondback portrait, but those are the only ones from Terran. Most of the high Protoss portraits look great though. Tassadar and Archon especially.
Terran and Zerg got totally screwed over. Waiting for Heart of the Swarm though.

Zerg ones are even worse, the only half-good one is the Ultra at 750, the other ones suck major balls.

The only decent Terran portrait is the Ghost IMHO. All of the rest are just... bad...
Zerg has a few decent ones, mainly the hydra, ultra, and kerrigan. None of the others are too impressive...
Protoss portraits are the best IMHO, Tassadar is the fucking shit, most of the team win portraits are really good too.
But overall, agreeing with the majority here, the most of the portraits are just fucking bad.
