www.backloggery.com/neo_sporin I am a HUGE fan of Persona 3 and 4, for JRPG fans if you haven't gotten around to them you need to as they will blow your fucking mind with their uniqueness and changes to the genre. Since you have played 3 you must play 4, its an improvement on almost every level. I personally dont recommend DQ8 that much, just something about it didnt really work Research any Shin Megami Tensei RPG for ps2, almost all of them are universally revered. I also ssecond the recommendations of the metal gear solid series, you can still find MGS1 and play it in a ps2, optionally be like my gf and just watch the entirety of it on youtube and then jump into MGS2. MGS3 though is where the series really hits its stride. Shadow Hearts 1 was pretty meh, but the 2nd one is supposed to be a vast improvement. I have it, just havnt gotten around to it.

Other than that Rachet and Clank was pretty bad ass as well as Killzone 1, My favorite all time game on the Ps2 tho, Timesplitters. Such a shame the company went bust when making the next one.

I think its mostly because I got half way through The Answer and stopped because I wasn't enjoying it at all. Also not having the compendium messed me up multiple times, but everyone is saying that Persona 4 is awesome so I'll have to go pick it up. I'll also have to get Okami too since most people enjoyed it a lot.

But it cleared up the ending to the journey a bit (im not saying this is a good thing, I thought the ending to the journey was awesome). Persona 4 though, twas awesome. I grinded out 85 hours on it in 1.5-2 weeks. I wish Chie was a real person....

Aside from RPGs, I would recommend Silent Hill 2 (if you're into scary games), Burnout 3: Takedown (best racing game I've ever played), Metal Gear Solid (especially Snake Eater / Subsistence), and SSX Tricky (snowboarding made even more awesome).
