Returning to sc2 1v1

After my accident I've had a few months off, relaxing in my hand while watching streams every day - playing a bit 2v2, 3v3 with my girl, with low APM. Before breaking the knuckle on my right hand I was 1000ish point, close to top 200 in Europe.

After WhiteRa's incredible run a few weekends ago, I'm back for some action! Oh and some nice WhiteRa build orders

I hope the whole "splitting knuckle in 2 parts" hasn't lowered my APM permanently - nah don't think so, it's just a bit stiff.

Sadly most of my practice partners has quit or plays rarely - Time to make some new mates =). Wish me luck!

I'm in a bit of a similar situation. I was out at a friends birthday (read at a bar), dancing, when I stepped too far to the right, and my foot slid down the raised platform. I hit my right hand on a metal stair railing, and dislocated my right middle finger. I set it back myself, and then in the morning went to the hospital. It was fractured with a small piece of bone shore off from the dislocation and apparently the ligament came off with bone, so it could bend sideways (gross). It's seems to be doing ok though, and I've been training my ring finger to substitute my middle one on the mouse for now. Beware of drinking, hands are apparently very fragile... :p

If only we were in the same region, I could have another new practice partner

especially a brotoss :D

I had my wrist cut before(not self inflicted, just accidental art workshop stuff), though nothing serious compared to this accident, but.. i can somehow feel a bit of your pain... so to speak~
