 ?Should be a fun Christmas gift no? I am thinking to finish that song, then maybe do more-than-words. Should be interesting! Any suggestions and comments? Which songs can you recommend that would be nice (I like harmony)? Does an external microphone helps with recording quality (I use the build-in one and it sounds bit funky, I record with audacity)? Plus if you plan to do something like that, dont sing a song someone else wrote. Write a poem instead then its your own words. My bf and I always make each other rage comics/poems/raps - parody songs. Its much cooler to use your creativity than someone else. ( love the idea of making a gift though., my bf made a whole bouquet of flowers and the vase they came in.. That far beats anything from a flower shop) | ||

I won't think about "Oh should I sing? Is it a good idea? Is it awkward?" too much because it'll be "playing games" which I hate. We're not playing games, we haven't been playing games since the start and I think I'll go ahead to do whatever I feel like doing. The reason I'm with her is because we are never awkward no matter what we do, and that comfort is good. Did you listen to the link I posted? | ||

1. Pick a song that fits your vocal range. Your voice strains a little at the high parts. I don't know what songs to suggest though, lol. I personally love the song "My Girl" by the Temptations, and that sounds like something you might like...? 2. Do you have a better mic? The quality isn't that great :/ 3. Sing over the phone. Live. The more personal, the better. I think it's really cute for you to do this, be it your own song or a song that's already out there. I personally love it when the boyfriend sings for me. | ||

Alright, listened to the song, This is gonna be my honest advice. First, you need to pick a better key to sing in, because this is too high for you. Trust, I have to deal with the same crap, transposing songs down for my manly voice. And just as advice, you should try to hit the notes you sing from the start instead of rising up to them, cause it's producing a kind of 'weu' sound (really noticed it leading up to the chorus), and actually reminded me of Jimmy from South Park at some points, but don't worry cause that's an easy fix. Plus it will be easier to fix if you lower the key so the notes are easier to hit. Although I may be wrong cause the audio was kind of distorted. DEF LIVE! EDIT: OH SHIT HERE WE GO!
