Note: this is my 1000th post. It is a satirical, caricatural work of fiction. Please don't take any of this as factual. No, it is not actually a translation of anything.

Jaedong!

Q: Jaedong, your team is facing an extremely big crisis in last place.
A: The team is definitely doing worse than it should be, and much of that responsibility is on me. I'll work hard to play even better.

Q: How do you feel about Anytime taking the captain's position?
A: It's a huge load off my shoulders. Now I can focus on improving my winrate. I lost recently, but this development will allow me to work harder to make up for my shortcomings.

Q: Thoughts on some players stepping it up for your team this season?
A: PerfectMan has always been an outstanding player, but I think he had a case of nerves. I think they might have returned recently, but I've advised him to simply forget about a couple losses and go on a 10 game winning streak. I think he will definitely be the team's second ace this season.

Q: What are your thoughts on the IP rights issue?
A: I think that, at the very least, a Korean player must win. As long as the foreigners fight like computers, we will definitely come out victorious. However, it seems that due to some bad luck with the draws, the next opponent's team has a Korean player on it. I hope we can give it our all and emerge as the champions.

Q: What is your goal in the individual leagues?
A: I think I will aim for winning both finals first, and once I have accomplished that goal, I will come up with another one. If I stay focused, I am sure I will perform well.

Q: Anything else?
A: Killer has been practicing very hard, but he still lost recently in Proleague. I hope he can regain his confidence and win next time. I am afraid sitting next to me is having a detrimental effect on his practice, though.

Stork!

Q: How do you feel about being interviewed 2nd?
A: Although it is very regrettable that Jaedong was interviewed first, I will improve my condition and become first place next time.

Q: There have been rumors going around that you have been playing cell phone games instead of practicing.
A: Cell phone games require a lot of work. Microing is really tough when you can only use two thumbs, and the screen is much smaller so it is hard to see. However, I am sure I will adapt quickly.

Q: You have been losing recently in Proleague.
A: It is definitely not because I am not getting enough sleep. I am not staying up late into the night playing cell phone games. I will work harder in practice.

Q: TurN is on the rise in your team.
A: Turn is an incredible player. Since he plays so much like a Zerg, I can't ever beat him in practice. However, I always win against him at UMS, since his aggressive a-move style does not work when you can only attack with sunken colonies. I think with his new style, he will become a serious threat in Proleague this year.

Q: What is your goal for the individual leagues?
A: I hope to get to the Ro4. If I do, I will tell everyone a big secret that I have been harboring for a long time.

Q: Anything else?
A: Thanks to our sponsor for getting me this awesome phone! Also, it's cold now, so wear warm clothing when you go out. I recommend 100% fleece dinosaur suits.

Flash!

Q: KT Rolster, last year's champions, are on the verge of hitting the bottom tier.
A: I think I know how Jaedong feels now. He is really a tough person, having to bear this for so long.

Q: How do you feel about Terran being weaker this season?
A: I think it's more like the maps were imbalanced towards Terran in previous seasons. This will only mean I must try even harder.

Q: It also seems that maps are more rewarding toward offense and mobility?
A: That's not a problem. If the opponent decides to put up a strong offense, I will do my best to put up a stronger defense.

Q: How has the addition of Action changed your team?
A: He has taught me how to look very intimidating before matches. I heard his nickname overseas is "Mafia Zerg," and now that I have learned this new technique, I understand why. I have been noticing a further increase in my opponent's slip-ups. Action is in a slump, though, so I hope he will recover soon. He has really been a huge benefit to our team.

Q: Who do you fear the most in the individual leagues?
A: Every player in the individual leagues is outstanding, so I must face them all with equal confidence. I will do my best.

Q: What is your goal for this Proleague season?
A: See the team get to an Ace match. Once that is accomplished, my goal will be to win an Ace match.

Q: Anything else?
A: I haven't been interviewed in a long time, so I was pretty nervous. Thanks to all the fans who have kept supporting me!

Free!

Q: How do you feel about the new Bo7 format in proleague?
A: Since our team is deep, it has been a great benefit. Being able to send out powerhouses like Crazy-Hydra, SaiR, and PianO on a regular basis is becoming a greater asset every day.

Q: How do you feel about your personal Proleague season so far?
A: Even though I have a winning record, all of my wins have been unsatisfactory. In each game, I made many mistakes and threw away opportunities. All of my games so far have been really regrettable. My confidence is very low.

Q: Your team's Z line has been extremely strong this year.
A: They are the backbone of the team, even though Kwanro left. Many teams have a very weak Z line, but our team is the opposite. We have a very strong Z line. Our T line is also becoming very powerful, as I've heard from the rookie Terrans that Really is teaching them a lot. Now all that remains is for our P line to reach the same level as the T.

Q: Your team lost its winning streak to SKT recently.
A: That caused us to lose sashimi at dinner. For that, we must exact revenge on SKT next time we meet. I am already practicing for our next match against them.

Q: Anything else?
A: Zero commented recently that Really is extremely manly. He also said in the past that he heard Flying likes men. Even if he was joking, I think he might be trying to hint at something, so I hope he will say it in the next winner interview, even though he didn't say it last time.

Fantasy!

Q: Despite being the team's best player last year, you lost several times to begin the Proleague this year.
A: It's really regrettable. It seems that I was rusty at the beginning of the season. I will work hard to regain my condition from last year.

Q: SKT's Terran line is doing very badly.
A: It's good that Mong recently entered the MSL. However, I feel the T line's performance is heavily dependent on me, and I have been doing badly. I will work hard to regain my condition from last year.

Q: You lost your first two TvPs, your best matchup, to begin the season.
A: I definitely need to practice more. I should probably get Best to help me, since he's very strong at PvT and is knowledgeable about the intricacies. I will work hard to regain my condition from last year.

Q: Bisu is 8-0 and the P line is doing extremely well.
A: Bisu seems to have unbreakable focus. He told me the other day that the key to having such outstanding concentration is to stare at your own reflection in the screen before turning the monitor on. He tells me that makes it impossible for him to take his eyes off the screen. I will try it next time in practice. I hope to improve to be as good as the P line.

Q: SKT's Zergs are also doing better than last year.
A: Our zergs have always been outstanding players, and I think the introduction of Kwanro has really helped to improve their performance in televised matches. I hope I can work with Mong in the same way to form a strong Terran line and make it as good as the Z line.

Q: Your team is undefeated.
A: Bisu, Best, Kwanro, and the other players are really incredible. I will practice hard so I can perform as well as them.

Q: Anything else?
A: Nope.

ggaemo!

Q: Since transferring to ACE, you have defeated some strong opponents.
A: The military discipline is helping. I would like to thank my captains and coaches, since they have trained me to avoid making slip-ups in games and calm my nerves. In addition, I would especially like to thank my drill sergeant for teaching me to properly defuse land mines. Since that day, my vT play has improved significantly.

Q: You have been called the Jaedong of ACE.
A: I was never called the Jaedong of Oz (haha), so it's great that I've now earned this moniker. I will work hard to improve my win rate and live up to the name.

Q: ACE is not a last place team this season.
A: We have some very strong new recruits, including M18M and firebathero. My first goal this season was to help our team climb past Oz in the rankings. With that now completed, my new goal is to climb into the middle tier.

Q: You are on a 3 game losing streak, though.
A: Even though this is true, my kind fellow ACE members have been performing much better than usual and picking up the slack for me. It is good that I have even gotten a chance to play. Back on Oz, Jaedong was always sent out instead of me. Now that I am obtaining experience, I will be sure to improve.

Q: What do you feel most confident about in your gameplay?
A: Before transferring to ACE, I would have to say it was my late game ground-based play. However, since I was recruited to the military, I am most confident in my control of air forces.

Q: ACE members did poorly in the individual league preliminaries.
A: While this is regrettable, I think all of us are more concentrated on proleague. Every day, when we train, we train as a team, so I think that has fostered the growth of a camaraderie. I hope I can work hard and contribute to my team in Proleague more in the future.

Q: Anything else?
A: Thanks to the ACE coach and the Bo7 format for giving me the opportunities I could never have on Oz!

Sea!

Q: People are calling this the second coming of MBSea.
A: I think I'm starting to understand how Flash and Jaedong feel.

Q: Aside from you, the team's ace, who is the team's best player?
A: It's definitely Jaehoon. I've never beaten him in practice, and neither has Light. In fact, I think the only player on our team with a winning record against Jaehoon in practice is Hyun. He is truly a fearsome player, and I hope everybody can understand that despite his bad case of stage fright. Jaehoon is not bad at BW. Definitely not.

Q: It seems that most of the other players on the team have been inconsistent this season.
A: The only reason Light is inconsistent is because he has faced the strongest players on each team so far. The other day, he complained to me that while I got to face players like Jangbi and Killer, he was matched up with Kal and Jaedong in the last couple weeks. I feel sorry for Light. It seems his luck is simply terrible.

Q: Your team lost to ACE, and ggaemo beat your bio into mech transition.
A: The bio into mech transition is invincible against zerg, so it must have been an execution mistake on my part. I'll work harder in practice and use it successfully next time.

Q: What are the biggest things you have learned from your teammates this season?
A: Light has taught me to play his style of TvZ. He is not very good at using the bio into mech transition, so I have a lower win rate with his style, but I think it might be good to have two ways to play TvZ. Also, I've been practicing TvP with Jaehoon. Jaehoon knows PvT so well that I could not beat him even once until recently. He has taught me many secrets to the matchup. I feel like I am now capable of winning in any matchup, thanks to my team.

Q: Anything else?
A: Shoutout to my foreign fans: hihihi me yumbosung~

Calm!

Q: Your team is doing very well this season.
A: All of our races are performing well. I know when CuteAngel and Bogus first came to the A-team, I made fun of their names for a whole week. However, when I started slumping, they called me "Clam" until I started winning again. I think that is probably the biggest motivation that has propelled our T and Z lines this season.

Q: Modesty has not won a game this proleague season yet.
A: He will definitely improve. I will put him through my very special mentoring system.

Q: You and Kal have been playing extremely well this season. What's your secret?
A: To be honest, it was more of a threat. The coach told us one day that whoever was the first to get an 8 win streak in proleague would get free chicken for a whole year. Since that day, many of our team members including me have shown notable improvements. The STX coaching staff is truly genius.

Q: You won the OSL Wild Card.
A: I went in there with the intention of playing calmly. I had a relaxed mindset before each game. In fact, I was so relaxed that by the end last game I was about to fall asleep. It was a very tiring day, but I'm glad that the result was good.

Q: Recently, your mood seems to have improved a lot, judging from facial expressions.
A: Like Stork, I have a very important secret that I will share if I do well in the individual leagues. It might have something to do with Tossgirl.

Stork's "interview" is hilarious.

Meanwhile, Jaedong is still fictionally and realistically a badass.

nvm, missed that it was fictional, still a bit WTF?! though. Is there some reference I'm missing? Apart from Jaedong calling foreigners Computer opponents.

lollll so many "I will try harder to be better" man I hate to see those when I'm translating, no matter how "different" I try to word those when translating, it all turn out to be bland and boring.

Needs more "because I hate to lose" for Jaedong.

When Jaedong was interviewed after winning a match at this year's WCG, he said that his win was easy because his foreigner opponent played poorly, so much so that it "felt like he was vsing a computer."

Oh boy~

Lol... =(

He definitely has improved on that.
