First of all I actually dislike cheeses on ladder because as Zerg I get all kinds of nonsense from Protoss/Terran.
However, with the new patch change, there is something potent zergs can try is that we can send 2 drones try to delay the scv making the supply depot.
Further, keeping those drones alive, delay the the construction of the barraks.
Further, if that fails, double gas steal.
We can then follow up with
1) zergling rush or
2) much more potent range 4 roach rush
I think there's little terran can do except making bunker. But then you can expand very safely while exerting pressure on his front with roaches.

I dont know. They'll just send 2 SCVs to save the one making the barracks, if they're smart. With their ability to repair eachother, the drones don't really stand a chance.

damn you evan! damn youuuuu!!!!!!! thanks for the heads up but if we defend with 2 scvs we are going to get some 150 mineral delay 
t will only have 7 SCV's all in all that's mining while zerg has 8 can safely expand lol or your suggested rushes.

Anyway, this could be a problem. You basically get a free expo even without this. If this gets out of control, i really hope blizzard patches it again

Idra and Artosis did this for a while during the beta on Steppes. Double drone harass into double gas steal. I think as long as the Terran reacts well (send out two additional SCVs to the one building the depot/rax), he should come out ahead.

Hehe! I was thinking about this earlier today. It seems like it could catch a lot of Terrans off guard and could be pretty effective, especially if you were planning to follow it up with a gas steal/FE.
As I haven't tried it yet, I can't really speculate on the cost/gain or risk/reward of this tactic, but forcing your opponent into situations they're not used to, or comfortable with can prove to be really really effective in itself.
I know it really puts me in a good frame of mind when I snipe an early scv with my scouting drone and I can almost feel the frustration of my opponent in the way they often over-react to it by trying to compensate for their loss.

you'd have to send those two drones very early, really hurting your econ. Even if your harass was successful you'd be way behind. Only map I can see this working on is steppes of war.

You do realize you'll have to send drones shortly after split to achieve this? This is just lol.
4 range roach doesn't mean bunker marines have less range or marauders have less range. They still a-move from behind repaired depots to gg you.

If you just send 7 drones right away, the terran only has 6 scvs, so it's not like he can do anything about it.

Well, drone rushing sounds viable :D. Plus, you'll lose more mining time when you pull your drones first, whilst the Terran would have more SCVs and mining and still being ahead even after getting some SCVs off the line.
