So the main purpose of this is to ask you guys where I should take a girl on a date and what to do(the other purpose is to brag).
We are in Washington DC, specifically American University. We've been in a relationship for a few days - we always hang out together; one day we were sitting together on a couch half-cuddling and I kissed her, she kissed back = relationship. But we haven't really gone out. She is an exchange student from China. I am an American-born Chinese. I'm not 21 yet. Suggestions for things to do, places to eat would be nice. Don't wanna go too far from Tenleytown just because it's inconvenient, but if it's really worth it...
If you need more info to give advice, just ask.
Oh, and no pics.

Cook for her at your house! women love it.

Done that already (dorm though, not house), but I guess we could do that again.

impress her with your kareoke skills

Introduce her to SC2 and force her to play 12 hours a day for the next 2 months. Then give her a plane ticket to S. Korea where she will compete in the last GSL of 2010. Because of her training she will win this and bring home a ton of money. Then you steal that money by using chloroform to put her to sleep. She will wake up the next day in your bed naked, but you will give her a red rose that you bought with the money she earned from first place in the GSL. And she will be pleased.

go camping ^^

Figure out something that's fun and exciting to do. The term exciting part being the important one. Going to a restaurant isn't very exciting. It's dull and boring. Be creative, and do something that's FUN, not something that is boring. If she likes you, she just wants to spend time with you regardless. What you do isn't THAT important.
|
hahaha wtf TeamFirst I really wish I could do that
Terrakin, you can camp in DC? Not sure if we could do that though... we don't have any stuff with us.
SolHeiM - Yeah that's the thing, what are some fun and exciting things to do in DC...

you allready started kissing, now go kiss some more!
Anyway, since she's an exchange student from China, i was thinking that you could show her D.C as it is. Every city in this world have atleast some special unique things, which doesnt exist in other cities. Show her those things which only D.C can show. But dude, it also depend on what kind of girl she is, its hard to tell you any ideas, when the only info i get is that she's an exchange student.
anyway, good luck man! hope for the best
P.S. shit, i didnt see that you asked where to eat, but then again, D.C must have some good eating places nearby, or ask her if she wanna go and explorer eating places with you

Do the "naked man". 2 out of 3 times!

good point, kiss doesn't always mean relationship haha.

People like you... Sigh. You get the girl somehow, and yet don't know anything about dating or what to do.
I don't even get to meet girls, despite how hard I try T_T
|
Adams Morgan has some good places to get food. I always end up over there when I'm in DC. I know Tenleytown is sorta over there.

Last girl that I kissed just sat there with a dumb face, I think we are not in a relationship.
Lucky you!
Take her bowling.

Lucky you! ROFL, too funny. You should know what activities she enjoys and just head out to do that. Or go bowling, thats always pretty safe.

2 Amys pizzeria, great restaurant. Fantastic pizza. Go on the early side or it will be too crowded.
Also you have a LOT to learn about dating, jesus.

On topic... you are in DC theres plenty to do and see, and about 500000 places to eat, just man up and pick something you will both enjoy.. you have endless options. Or just listen to JWD because from reading his blog i can tell hes the man
|
haha I didn't mean that's ALL we've done, it was just what started it.
JWD, yeah this is only my second relationship, need more advice from TL lol. I'm not that good looking and was pretty shy in high school, so meh

You're in AU? Walk 20 minutes south on Wisconsin Ave. and see the National Cathedral. Best view in all of DC.
Then there's the Zoo at Woodley Park but I dunno if it's the right season - plus I think there are some better zoos out there.
P.S. let's hang out sometiem >_>
|
Hmm, national cathedral. Ok.
You go to AU??

George Town has some great restaurants to eat. Or you can act really chinese and go to China Town.

dude, so much to do in DC. Get a whitehouse tour.
Go to the museums (girls eat that shit up.... AND ITS ALL FREE), the monuments too maybe. The view from the top of the washinton is pretty cool.

You go to AU?? no, I currently intern at the cathedral -_-

What you want to do is take her out to somewhere where there won't always be awkward silence. In other words, don't just go for a place to eat, go somewhere where you can both do stuff besides talk and eat the entire time, because that's just plain boring. Maybe an arcade, or the likes, is an idea for starters, but I'm sure you get the idea. Take her to like some Dave&Busters, if they have one there, it's really great for dates. GL with it though.
P.S. never be direct with a girl about your feelings man, it's the worst thing you can ever do.
