I wouldn't be too concerned about the TV output, but like ieatkids5 said I'd make sure about the AC adapter and that the plug will fit in the US (if it looks like it will fit, then it will). Keep in mind this will take up space you could have used for other things when flying back to the US.

I'm not to worried about that; actually I think the XBox my cousin has might be a US adapter and he just has a converter so he can plug it into a typical Chinese outlet. Most Chinese outlets will take a plug made for the US. Make sure the Xbox can handle the voltage differences. Most laptops and computers have no problems, but I think my Wii needed a 3rd party adapter. So did my ps2 and my DS charger.

Although, do any of you guys think the XBox will be region locked to games in the US? :/ And I'll definitely want Live too..

Well no, we were just gonna buy it from a store in China. I'm not 100% sure about the region locking since there's actually no real XBox 360s for sale officially in China, but then they would need mods to play games in China (I think). So yeah, I might be best off buying it in the US.

1. Exchange rate fluctuations 2. You are purchasing stolen goods 3. You are purchasing fake goods 4. You are purchasing smuggled goods 5. Different tax rules 6. The merchant is not charging you taxes. My roomate several years ago bought an Xbox360 of some electronics vendor in Beijing. Had it modded and everything. He still paid quite a bit of money for it.

The cheap stuff is cheaper in China than in the US, but high quality/expensive items (for example, Xboxes) are usually more expensive in China because of the luxury tax on imported stuff. I was looking at a pair Monster Beats Studio by Dr. Dre, which go for about $300 in the US, but they were like $500 or something at the Chinese Apple Store that I was in.
