Stupid Ideas that will never be in SC2

So in the midst of studying for upcoming finals and crap, I got really bored and decided to theorycraft some possible crap in SC2 that would be fun to have, but impossible to balance cause it'd be too damn good.

-Allow zerg to climb on carcasses of dead units, creating makeshift ramps. Got this inspiration from the original starship troopers when they got ambushed by like 10,000 zerglings and they climbed over the thing by making ramps to climb over the wall.

-Allow zerg passive abilities to adapt to armies. While I was studying natural selection and crap for AP bio, i was wondering what would happen if zerg could throw massive waves of units at other armies and gain some resistance towards certain attack types. Like if there was a whole bunch of hellions and a zergling survived, you could create flame-resistant zerglings and crap like that. If they want to create the perfect warriors, shouldn't they like...try and create the perfect warriors?

-Having ultralisks run shit over. If they're that damn big, you could at least expect them to trample marines, zealots, and zerglings instead of trying to find a way around them. Mumakil from LOTR anyone?

-Making marines the only tier 1 infantry and having jetpacks, grenades, stim, and health upgrades for them. I watched a bootleg version of Iron Man today and I suddenly wanted marauders to have jetpacks. If a marine could choose from any two of these abilities, that'd be so damn cool.

-Having vikings being able to use their missiles as well as their machine guns on the ground. If they can use em in the air, why can't they use em on the ground? I'd totally dig having vikings sniping crap on the ground.

-Allowing infantry to shoot out of medivacs. If we can do it with helicopters today, why can't we do it with dropships of the future?

-Giving the protoss real psychic abilities. If they're that developed, shouldn't something be able to go all Xavier or Jean Grey all over the terrans and zerg? I'd be totally down to see tosses just mindfucking with everything and creating total chaos. On a side note, shouldn't mind control be on the toss side, not the zerg side?

-Allow the mothership to be summoned anywhere on the map. If it comes from space...then shouldn't it be able to appear anywhere on the map? Also, why did blizz make it a mothership? I'd rather have some gnarly asgard or ancient battleships instead of a mothership...plus you'd expect it to be bristling with guns and superweapons...it has like 4 stalker cannons.

-Give the protoss some kinda nuke. If terrans could figure out nuclear fission, can't the protoss like create their own psionic superbomb? Always puzzled me why protoss never figured out how to make a giant explosion if they're so damn smart.

-Having terrain that's realistic. You can't stand at the bottom of a cliff and shoot something 100 yards away even if you know its there. There's a freakin piece of rock in the way. I mean if you're a seige tank, maybe, but a marine? Plus, high ground advantage means that people are gonna miss you and not be able to see you until you shoot at them, not "where the fuck is he, i can't see him shooting at me." On a side note, doesn't having the high ground advantage allow you to shoot farther, albeit more inaccurately?


Well that's can come up with for now. What are your guy's stupid ideas that would never happen in SC2? They can be funny, impossible to balance, or just plain stupid (try to limit the stupid/insanely retarded stuff plz :X).

Mothership = Atlantis and it looks lame

So many awesome suggestions alot seem like they would just happen if say a movie or something came out or you got someone who didnt know zip about SC2 and asked whats wrong in this picture.

Good read, take awhile to compile those? some seem really thought out.

EDIT: Mine has to be protoss buildings, they are so advanced they cant be made on site and have to be WARPED in from another goddamn galaxy yet they are equal to a drone stuffing its face with 400 minerals ( omg sick form eating so much poor guy ), and a redneck thrown together box they call a rax ( 4 walls that just tack on armour lol ).

oh yea...atlantis city ships...4got those existed. It didn't take me long to think these out; they're all stuff that's just been bothering me lol

Ever see a colossus shoot through terrain? It looks terrible.

Orbital bombardment. Why on earth are we bringing capital ships into the atmosphere where they can be shot at when we can just blow shit up from space?

Protoss should be able to kill units with gravity manipulation or warp fields. Need a path into the enemy base? Use a gravity field to move a chunk of terrain.

Realistic projectiles. Bullets don't just stop when they hit their target - they should travel through and damage other units. It'd be cool if you could hallucinate units into the middle of a marine group, causing them to fire and kill each other.

Have all air units be able to hit ground. Even if your projectiles are dumb fire, it shouldn't be hard to hit that massive group of units on the ground.
