SKT stands for SKTelecom, the name of the sponsor. 선경 Telecom, S K T. T1 Team One Team First whatever you wanna call it is the name of the team. Combined, we get SKT T1. SKT is fine, as is T1 (cf. "New England", "Patriots") but SKT1 is simply misconceived ("New Patriots" makes no sense either). Goddamnit.   | ||
