Every professional sport has had some type of gambling scandal in its past, I just didnt expect there to be enough money in SC for that to take place.

If party A makes a bet with party B but pays progamer C to throw the game, then party A has stolen from party B and progamer C is an accomplice. edit: I assume 'sports bribery' is a nickname since it doesn't have to be about sports specifically... just the fixing of gambling... but gambling is technically illegal in most cases so I'd still need someone to explain this a bit futher.

His point is that being in a progaming environment makes you more susceptible/likely to take bribes than someone who grew up from the general population, either due to maturity or simply the fact that they're constantly being manipulated/managed, by their parents/coaches/sponsors/etc., so being manipulated for this purpose is not as much of a challenge as it would be to have most adults do the same thing. As Rekrul said, to do this you need to be very short sighted or ignorant. Boys tend to be both.

That's a pretty terrible attitude, and I'm disappointed to see you posting stuff like that . If there are bad posters they should be dealt with, but there are plenty of people on here who post decently. If it were someone other than Rekrul who posted this topic and then went "lol nope not going to post it" I guarantee he would've been banned. Just because Rekrul isn't going to be banned for it is no excuse to act so elitist. P i a n o M a n

More likely they'll just be restricted more so the people trying to bribe them can't contact them in the first place. Can't remember the last time a decision was made that actually benefited the players.
