Ok, so that's that. I hope you guys support our little Costa Rican band, we really tried to give it our best producing this album *it took 2.5 years of hard work!*
The Last Void MY FIRST SHOW AFTER 2.5 YEARS
Ok, so a couple of months ago, we were invited to a gig by a big progressive band from Costa Rica called Time's Forgotten, and we just couldnt refuse, even though we didnt have the album in our hands nor our release party out. It was this big band, and it would help us establish our fanbase back Or at least, start a new one. So, we basically practiced for 2 days a week, about 6 hours + each day. We really really really wanted to put on the best performance we could offer. We even hired a couple of girls for backup vocals, as well as a keyboard guy to make it sound as close to the album as possible.

Me @ the last rehearsal before the show.
As the drummer of my band, i had to be the first to be there to setup all the drumkit (10 am). Since the concert would start at 7:30 pm, i had to ask someone to come with me, cuz being alone there just staring at the guys making sure the lighting and sound was ok really sucked. Soooo, I asked a friend to be my drumtech so he could help me out putting everything up and making sure everything was tuned and good to go.
By the end of the day, I was getting so so anxious, i smoked a whole pack of cigarettes from 10 to 6 pm TT_TT. It's really difficult to stay cool when ur about to hit a concert after 2.5 years of not being on stage, and with a sure to be packed place.
The concert itself was really really intense! We played in a theater, it was a place filled with 600 costa rican progheads/metalheads. When the concert was about to start, a small chant calling Void was heard from backstage, growing bigger and bigger. Then it hit us: It's finally time. We did a small group gathering, got pumped up, hugged each other, and went to the stage. The crowd was cheering! :D We were so excited!
So on to the concert! We really gave our best out there, and apart from minor to be expected fk ups, we did really good! When we finished the last song, the people started screaming for more, but due to time limitation, we had to go.
Here are some pics I came up with of the show.
