Their new idea called 'Dimension Link' basically means you can play AS other characters while playing as one. This isn't limited to just the three main characters, Terra Aqua and Ventus, you get to play as, heres the spoilers ZACKS FROM FREAKING CRISIS CORE, I mean that just there is awesome. I thought crisis core was pretty cool, I liked dissidia omnislashing someone is very satisfying.
Seriously this game would have a perfect score on all counts except for the LOADING TIMES, its probably the only reason I didn't beat it in one sitting the first time I got it because I fell asleep during one fo the load times, and forgot to charge the PSP and lost my progress because I don't save cuz thats for pussies who think they're gonna lose. So yeah aside from being a raving fanboy over Square-Enix and almost every final fantasy game theyve made, aside from Crystal Chronicles wtf.
This review is biased but I enjoyed the game and if you have a thing for action hack and slash with RPG elements you WILL like this game BUT you WONT like the loading times. Unless you have some weird loading fetish I dunno.
10/10 if you ignore the loading
I can't even score the loading because everything else just,
I was just glad that I was able to fight Zacks, but then they give me the opportunity to play as him? WTF hells yes.
Win Win.
Edit: You do get to play as other random characters, like the first one it gave me was Cinderalla I was like WTF CINDERALLA? Her moves were awful and I was praying that this patternt wouldn't continue, then they gave me Malificent who was OKAY but her shit bugs out and doesnt hit some monsters for some reason. But Zacks, omg Zacks omnislashes everything and you just implode with awesomeness. I haven't beaten the game but getting to see all the Orginazation people before they become Nobodies is pretty cool. You get to see how Xigbar gets his eye-patch which I thought was awesome, in a weird way. I like it when they tie things together like that it gives a nice sense of completion, instead of a this-is-how-things-are-why-should-we-have-to-explain-it-to-you feel that some trippy storyline games do.
