Merry Christmas
That looks great! Is it possible to do it with stacked mutas? Like 3, for example, to 1-hit a scourge.
And maybe this will inspire some progamers to learn how to do this with less than 4k apm lol

Yes it is, but it's a bit sloppy at the moment so I'm still working on it.

I really like it, but I would just like to point out one fallacy. You mentioned a possible imbalance to a technique that is primarily used in a mirror match up.

Think wraith vs scourge.

would be more useful valk vs scourge i think? is that possible?

wraith vs muta maybe, since wraiths have longer range.. maybe it can be abused more than leta had.

Not to take away anything from the AI but the scourge micro is horrible lol

I want to see it with corsairs.

What is the problems with stacking muta. So far it hasn't really been done, but nobody has given a good explanation of what problems you encounter when you try and why.
Awesome video though... thats kinda scary that it can do that with ease.

In programming the AI there's no way to interface with the "selection" feature of starcraft, so you have to program the order given to each unit seperately. Now you would think that giving the same order to everyone would make them act as one muta, thus achieving stack. This WOULD work if flying units stayed exactly where they are when you stack them; however, let's say you order this unit to go from point X to point Y, the unit will not go in the same path if there was another muta on top of it, instead it would 'float' a bit to the side, ruining the stack. This tiny discrepancy gets multiplied everytime the muta moves, and in the end it just gets very messy.

How is this different than the patrol micro we always see? I don't see a difference.

Everytime the muta fires, the distance between it and the scourge is decreasing at a much lower rate, while at the same time the muta could fire way more often(pretty much at every cooldown), because the minimum distance for the muta to fire is a lot less than patrol micro would require. I haven't seen patrol micro being used for a long period time though, so I can't really judge on its effectiveness. Someone should make a video of patrol micro used by one mutalisk against 10 or so scourge at slowest speed, and compare.

I think progamers would micro like that if they had 4k APM. But the technique seems the same.
