How much longer are you there for? Do you plan on taking another semester abroad, whether there or somewhere else?

I'm definitely considering graduate school here (not at this school). I was planning to do the year off thing in the US, but I think I'd be guaranteed to get into the school of my choice here so there'd be no reason except for the experience. Again, I'm torn between losing out on learning Turkish, and taking time off between schools. Also, I still haven't met Hyperionnn. I offered to buy him a drink and hookah too!

Could you tell me how to write "I learned enough Turkish to say that I really enjoyed your class :D" or something to that extent? <_<

I'd watch it for sure. Of all the things that are wrong...this sentence in particular is horrible. I don't recommend doing something like ever: "this students goal" (which should be student's..its possessive). Just eliminate the sentence: In Immigration: Why everyone losing is the best for all of us it is this students goal to try and dissect the following ideas. No one's mentioned the bibliography yet so I may as well. I'd title it as "Works Cited" since you cited all four sources you used. In a bibliography, you usually have items you used but did not actually cite in your paper. The sources need to be listed alphabetically. You don't need to put '1st ed.' unless there is a second edition, which there isn't for TDH. You also do not need the page numbers nor the word 'print,' nor do you need 'NY.' People know New York. If it was a relatively unknown city you would need a state. For example "Portsmouth, NH." It should be: Urrea, Luis. The Devil's Highway. New York: Little, Brown and Company, 2004. The journal article you need some more information from the looks of it (issue number or month). I'd take out the web and the date you accessed it. Not sure if you have it but New Republic should be italicized.

At least when it's correct it says "I know how to do citations...I just suck ass at writing."

I'd also recommend using footnotes instead of parenthetical citation. yeah thats been pretty much my experience, stick to one style, I use APA so that's what i stick with.

The problem is that I don't want to regress in my Turkish, which I think would happen unless I end up near a Turkish community and have a chance to take classes.

Nobody can seriously write something like this and call it a term paper.
