I changed from Zerg after i got bored of it and 1a2a3a4a5a6a7a8w9z0z was too hard for me.
I changed to terran to practice my apm (requires the most) and i liked mnm and Boxer is god. So, when my TvZ was decent enough to CRUSH NOOBS, i worked on my TvP. i seriously HATE TvP. I even lost to my friend who just started to play Starcraft. My units seemed to melt instead of melting the protoss. I won 0-103492358436845635 for my TvP. SO, after i got DTed for the 200th time, i quit Terran and moved onto the 1a2a3a race.
i played PvZ against my friend, who has been helping me for every match up. was my first PvZ in Months and i think i did decently. Terran was so boring because turtling is fucking retarded... PvT is sorta opposite. I love to send few units to rape. Turtling in PvT will get you nowhere. Terran will eventually bust open your choke and eat you alive. I always thought protoss was lame and a waste but Storms and DTs and Zealots are fun to use. Its so much different from terran where you HAVE to turtle and aggression can get you killed. although not as aggressive as zerg, its alot more easier to control and Storms > Swarm.

Only noobs turtle as Terran.
If you like Boxer, play like him. 2 port wraith, 2 fac, and sneak an expo when they least expect it (a la iloveoov).

I play like him and i fail >>... I BBS, Bunker Rush, make wraiths, make valks, everything i tried in TvP but its always the same out come... the need to make Tanks and goliaths

ha, I feel your pain. I'm a Zerg player myself, trying to learn Terran to boost my APM and to get a feel for how a different race works. TvZ isn't awful (my mnm control is slowly improving, just need to remember to macro all those rax) but TvP is brutal! There are probably all sorts of things I'm doing wrong, but for now it's really frustrating to venture cautiously out of my wall and get crushed by 5 gateways worth of units and a couple of arbiters.
cool if you're having fun with toss though. I don't play P much but I have to agree, well-placed storms are super satisfying :D

learning another race wont boost your apm with your main all too much. And yeah, terrans turtle, they cant survive against a protoss at the lower levels without turtling, unless they do some allinish thing

Tip: play what you like and not what you win with, seriously, i did that..and got bored of that race even with winning.

I liked TvZ but i wanted to see how TvP was like. Mech is some hard shit to control and turtling is boring so eh... i chose the "all mu is fun" race

TvP isn't THAT hard. I mean, yeah, I have the worst TvZ of anyone to ever live unless I'm meching, but still (to give you an idea, I typically stare at my marines as they die because I enjoy the sound of them dying too much to scan for the lurkers... I love lurkers.) And my tvp is pretty bad, but I still managed to go like 40% with it at D ranks.

Yeah...TvP is by far one of the hardest matchups..but it feels so great when you beat the imbaness of a protoss user, i once quit terran because of tvp..but then came back because i loved the race too much to let me stop playing because of one terribly hard matchup

i disagree. i just hit C- and i still cant beat D- Protoss :O

Toss seems like a fun race because im doing decently in PvZ and PvT ( EASIEST MU EVERRR) i just need to learn the basics of PvP. But who knows, i might get bored like i did with Zerg and go back to Terran or Zerg and like them more than toss

Well, I'm a Protoss player but my TvP is waay better than my PvP. Its better than all my vZ matchups as well o.o
I dunno, I've always found it pretty easy, especially at low levels when you can easily macro up an army of equal or greater food count than your protoss opponent :D

If you don't wanna turtle TvP, learn deep six and hope they go for some kind of fast 3rd. :D
Of course, it'll only work if they go pure goons for a while, I really don't know the mindsets of a protoss in PvT. D:

what i like to do is to harass with early goons and zealots when i have the chance ( lifted wall or unsieged tanks)
Storm drop then DTs to clean up the damaged SCVs is really neat since it takes 1hit to kill SCVs after storm.. if they live

yeah that's what turns me off about terran, TvP is such a girly turtle orientated match up.
