So.. today Wonder Girls came to the Justice store at Palisades Center, and I lived literally 5 minutes away, I decided to go!
I went right after school, and arrived at about 3:00 PM. I was one of the first people on the line, and waited patiently until 4:00PM.
Oh hai, Wonder Girls.. WTF NO SUNYE!
Of course, being in the front of the line, I had to let friends cut. Before we knew it, the line had already gotten really long!
So after a few minutes, I got in for my signatures but the 7 foot tall man at the entrance told me that I could only get one signature!
I was going to bring in underwear to get signed... but I decided that it was a bad idea, and just got my paper signed. I asked each member if I could take a picture, and I did except Sohee because she completely ignored me and even wrote my name like crap.
Anyway, being unsatisfied with only one signature, I cut to the front of the line again, because my friend was there, and got another on their Single CD "Nobody". It's in English and it's a lot worse than the Korean version (not to mention they're not that great at singing originally anyway) but they sold them for $1 each so I decided to buy it.
Even though they were supposed to stay until 6:00PM, they stopped letting people in at 5:00PM because there weren't as many people as they expected, and as they were leaving, fanboys were screaming their hearts out, and amidst all the crazy yelling, you could make out the faint "소녀시대 (SNSD) 짱!"
Anyway, they're coming to Garden State Plaza tomorrow again, and I might just go there to meet them again !
If you live near GSP, you should definitely go! It's at Justice from 4:00PM!
Yay!
P.S. Sorry for the apparent lack of Yubin in the pictures . She got a little chubby lately and the only picture I have of her currently she has a double chin showing.
Also, sorry about the poor quality of the pictures, The ones on the camera I can't get until few days later so I used the ones on the phone!

Wow. Looks like you had a decent time.

aren't you the dude who got 30/30 on that mensa test?
really? Wonder Girls?
edit - no seriously, i just listened to "tell me" on youtube to try to understand what possible musical value is here.
It's like Backstreet Boys, but filled with asian girls instead of caucasian males.

I heard from one of my friends that the Wonder Girls got booed off the stage at a Jonas Brothers Concert at NY.

That being said, doesn't look like they're enjoying themselves much. I guess record signing at a random mall ain't all it's cracked up to be.

sorry, it's distasteful of me to charge into your blog and to make fun of you. I just truly don't understand the appeal of kpop. It's completely mind-baffling.
When i was in junior high school it was annoying enough to see all the popular girls running around screaming about the Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls, but at least they were stupid blonde ditzes, so it didn't really get to me.
To see someone with intelligence (or at least implied intelligence) admire/enjoy such shallow empty music is again, baffling. Those girls from my high school had an excuse - they didn't know any better. But with intelligent individuals i'm just left wondering.
Shouldn't you be playing mozart or something?

Wonder Girls are really bad at singing, I won't lie.
Can't blame me for liking k-pop especially since I'm Korean. I've lived there for most of my life too. It really doesn't bother me that you don't believe I got 30 on that test, but it bothers me that you'd make fun of k-pop

Now that's just stereotyping.

It's in English and it's a lot worse than the Korean version (not to mention they're not that great at singing originally anyway) I don't think his interest is in the music.

ironically i didn't particularly doubt you getting 30 on the IQ test.
I just don't understand kpop.

It's just discussion, no need to get so serious (although I get serious about K-pop). Maybe I just like it because I've been listening to it for almost all of my life

There's nothing wrong with listening to kpop. There's plenty of smart people who love kpop. I don't know what music you like Mora, but I could also think whatever you like is shallow and empty. Everyone's taste is different.

Ewh Soulja boy. I'm not getting involved in this Kpop debate because (aside from being a Kpop fan myself.) I think musical preference is completely up to the individual and implying that enjoying a certain genre means you're unintelligent is bollocks of the highest order. (Even when applied to something as simplistic and repetative as hard-house music - that is the correct genre, right?)
I'm not a big WG fan, but it's nice you got to go to their fan signing
