I don't want France to go back to back, but I really don't want Argentina (I honestly thought they seemed like a bunch of dicks yesterday), and Morocco and Croatia aren't good enough to be worthy, even if I've enjoyed their progress so far.

Portugal - sloppy goal to concede, had a few good chances, should've exerted more control and aggression from the start. One thing I'm starting to notice about top teams this WC is the lack of urgency. England took awhile to get the engine running against Senegal. Even Brazil has been overly relaxed in their games. Maybe it's arrogance, overcautiousness, conservation of energy, or just poor tactics.

But then you'll have to hear "two world wars and two world cups" chants for the next 50 years, the smugness will be unbearable

What's wrong with back-to-back victories if it's fully deserved? It's about time a new nation ties with the record of Brazil and Italy (especially Italy which won with same coach).

I think ARG vs NED was shithousery all around (mainly because of how the ref handled it and what is at stake). I dont think argentinians were dicks to NED in particular. Didnt have that kind of reactions on our previous matches. Cant decide if I want FRA or ENG to advance. I think England will make it more interesting all around.
