Why was the penalty repeated? I know it's because of something the French goalkeeper did, but didn't get what exactly.

Giving him 10 meters of free space on all sides inside the box is definitely not the way, though.

Once the Polish realised our defence was weak it became scary for a few minutes. The first goal saved us and it became way easier to just wait for opportunities. I knew our defense was weaker but not to that extent, Matuidi and Kanté are not easily replaced. On the bright side, Mbappé is playing his best football at the world cup.

Also two great milestones : Giroud all time top scorer, after being mostly a friendly scoring machine for so long, Lloris all time caps record (stop using your feet).

At this rate, Mbappe is bound to annihilate all world cup scoring records, unless his career is getting derailed by untimely injuries. He's 23 so he got like two, possibly three more world cups to play. And that's not counting neither that he has 1-3 more game this tournament, nor that future tournaments will on average feature weaker opposition and might possibly feature 8 games for the finalists.

It’s certainly not ideal haha, although I think he just wears people down and fatigue comes into it.

England's defense looks speed challenged. Forces them to stay behind with too many players to mount that strong offenses, even though their offensive players have been looking decent.
