I was speaking with Salle and some of the other LP guys, we were pining for TLPD integration in LP. I had some ideas for how to do it in a players infobox but I have no idea what the database schema looks like, or even if it's the same for the international and korean databases, if I had some more information I could potentially implement something. I'm not asking for a DB user or whatnot, I can leave those fields empty and allow someone else to input them. Is this something that you would be interested in collaborating on or letting me work on? I assume the way it currently works is that beating an unrated players is counted as a victory against a player with a set points of ELO's. The ELO system originates from chess. In chess the tournaments are assigned an elo number with which the strength of unrated players are estimated. A players performance during the tournament can also be used (or mixed with the predefined elo number). This could help to prevent players from rising far by beating weak competition. Another idea could be to just not rate the match until the unrated player has played a number of games and his performance (number of ELO's with which he wouldn't have lost or won Elo's making the results he did) can be evaluated. Edit: I hope this is the right place to post that.

Frankly you should not demand any sort of change and just take all the results with a grain of salt.

Here's a good image for his profile. Also quick question: Which tournaments you guys add to the database ? I have won some famous players in online tournaments like Playhem or Zotac cups etc, but when i look at their TLPD they never show that game i played against them.

We usually skip bo1-rounds and start adding games from rounds on when Bo3-matches start. This may vary for each tournament, but it's kind of a guideline. If you have a tourney with prize money / and or enough well-known and/or accomplished players, and it's not in TLPD yet, you can always point us to it in this thread. (Tho there is a chance that it's already in our backlog but we just havent gotten to put in in yet because of the insane amount of SC2 games. We considered to record playhems once, with no result, because it's just an awful lot of work to do atm.).

LE = Ladder Edition, the only one used since NASL S2 I believe. RE = Old one, no longer in use, first seen (and afaik last seen) NASL Season 2. Just as a note I am 99.99% sure this has not been used since LE was originally published as we took down the RE version.
