It's easy to remember because of point 4, but I think the root of the problem (if you consider it a problem) is in point 2 - you present the views of your opponents very wrongly (in their mind at least) and it's very annoying to them. In your defense, it may look like this because you happen to get into those long exchanges with bad posters like sc-darkness whose posting is just indefensible. Yeah, you might be correct in pointing their wrongs out, but I don't get what you're trying to achieve by continuing to exchange posts with them once it's clear the discussion is going nowhere. It makes both of you look petty. Thanks. To be fair though, bardtown was a lot of fun. It was more enjoyable once mods caught on that British insults may sound cute and quaint, but you can't have a debate by constantly saying the equivalent of "fuck you" in British and he desperately tried to circumvent that till he blew up and called all muslims pedophiles as a passing card. Ironically, we shared more opinions than one ones we had disagreed. Unfortunately, what we disagreed on was leaving the EU. In the end though, I don't see a problem mocking a poster's viewpoint. If they view that the showing the absurdity of their viewpoint is a personal insult then they should refrain from expressing their absurdity in the first place, and they certainly shouldn't try to escalate by insulting me personally. Or maybe... I'm just blunt and kind of an asshole. | ||

Hey, at least I am not so "confused" to quote someone, accuse them of changing their post, and continue to insist that post was unfairly editted post-quote, even when it was pointed out that the quote was exactly the same as the post.
