Hello fellow Teamliquid members!
As mentioned in my previously blog I am working on a application that is able to check if Starcraft 2 streams(or any other) are online. Since last time I have started from scratch, I did not like the application structure and I have therefore decided to start over.
Basically the program is like Skype/MSN, but instead of adding friends you add streams.(Pictures below)
Features so far: - Able to save the streams when closing the application and load the the saved streams when opening the application. - Add a stream, with the needed information. - Show the status, the viewer count and preview of online streams. - Able to edit name and stream URL, after the stream has been added. - Able to delete a stream. - Able to press watch stream(this function will open the default browser and load the stream url). - Justin.TV support.
Working on: - Automatically update the streams(this is done manually atm, with the "Check Stream" button). -Done - A notifier which tells when a player is has started their stream(Something like when a skype/msn friend has logged on). - Design, the design atm. is just a basic design. - Need support Own3d, Ustream and others. - Description about the stream. - Need to add "Race" to the streams.
Pictures: Application's frontpage:
- The frontpage for the application.
Application's add a stream form:
- You can add a stream with this form.
Application's Right-click options:
- Able to watch, edit and delete a stream.
Please post your opinions and ideas in the comments.
I will be streaming when i am programming on this here http://www.justin.tv/fuzzydk So if you are interested in programming please join the chat.

Hey, saw your tweet. This sounds like a pretty cool idea! What is your timetable for its completion?

Its like taking TL streaming service to a whole new level, that's actually very cool.
What makes me like it so much is the fact that some streamers (small ones, but good ones) don't apply for TL so I'm not sure if they're online or not. Also it solves the problem of having to look through non-featured to see if they're there.
Is it going to be available for mac? I don't really care that much because I'm switching soon, I'm just curious. Also, what programming language is this in?

Well, I have made this in like 4 days, although I am soon to have exams. Maybe 2-3 weeks I will have usable beta version, Maybe even sooner. and thanks for showing interest btw.

I wanna focus on getting it to work on Windows first, I do not think that it will be available on Mac. Maybe Linux, I do not have much experience with Linux.

I am programming in C#, the reason for this is because it is objective language we were thought at my university.
