In regards to the MMA vs. MKP match, I think MMA has all the advantages going into this.
1. He has momentum from MLG.
2. He's literally played nothing but TvT in this tournament so far. And he has SlayerS' all-star Terran Lineup to practice with: Ganzi, Ryung, and the great Boxer himself.
3. MKP may have dominated his opponents so far, but look who his opponents have been. Squirtle, Ace, Revival, and TheBest. And while TheBest might be the only "awful" player among them, none of these guys are even in Code A anymore. He has not faced someone who I would consider to be a high-class Terran. And really, I HIGHLY disagree that TvP is MKP's worst MU. I really believe that TvT has always been his worst matchup ever since his first defeat against MVP in the GSL Finals. After that, I agree with Artosis and think Nada is the one that messed up during their whole Base Trade series, but during that series, Nada got read on his style, and proved it during their next encounter. I think Nada vs. MKP on Tal'Darim was a good indication on the shortcomings of MKP's TvT style. During that match on Tal'Darim, I think MKP's resistance to build Tanks really cost him the match.
If he hasn't really figured out a way to advance his TvT style forward, his match against MMA could easily turn into a repeat of his games against Nada and MVP. With SlayerS having such a good training and coaching regime, you know that MMA is going to have some of the best strategies against MKP and him and his team are going to be studying MKP's previous TvT games and shortcomings extremely carefully.
Meanwhile, MKP does have Maka and Polt to practice with. But I don't think Prime's training or coaching practices are as strong as SlayerS' given their results in the Team Leagues. The one thing MKP does have going for him is the fact that he did beat MMA in their last encounter at the Up/Down matches. MKP is in Code S while MMA remains in Code A.
Keep in mind, I'm saying this as a big fan of MKP. He's my favorite player. But on paper, MMA does look like he will have the advantage going into the Semifinals.
In terms of Top vs. Polt, I think it could really go either way. I think Polt's a more solid player though.

You forgot to mention that MKP seems to choke when he is under heavy pressure, but i think the series will at least be close. And i 100% agree with your moto.

Its MKP in the semifinals...which is pretty scary.
MMA does have loads of momentum though.

I've never heard of that before. Is there any evidence? Because I always thought he was quite confident in all his matches that i've seen

Both alicia and line get eliminated and we're left with 4 terrans. Just like first code a semis. I'll probably rewatch Hydra-Jaedong-ZerO-great semis for the 6th time. At least it's a little bit better.
StarsWar 6: 4 Protoss GSL Super Tour: 4 Terran
What do I have to do in order to watch something that involves non mirror matchups?

Fanboyism is beginning to kick in for me. MMA is going to crush the last opposition, he is just so good.

There's so much focus on MMA because of his recent achievements GSTL, MLG etc, but MKP is just a super solid player, I can't predict it, but I know it will be an excellent series.

I think this year's winner will have his IGN starting with M again!

^^ Yeah there's only a 75% chance of that happening :p

I think a lot of MKP's strengths lie in early game pressure, which might exploit some early-game weaknesses in MMA's builds. However, MMA has proven to be one of the best comeback-masters in the scene, oftentimes being resilient and winning despite an early-game deficit.
If MKP's early-game pressure does not damage MMA enough, he may find himself in a lot of trouble since MKP tends to have extremely questionable decision-making in the mid and late game, whereas MMA thrives off of tearing his opponent apart with superior multitasking and decision-making in those sections of the game.

Thats an incredibly false statement. In fact, MKP has some of the BEST decision making in the lategame, hence he can base trade so effectively in TvT.
If anything, its MMA's early game weakness that iwll hurt him. MKP in an easy 3-1.

Polt is anything but the more solid player compared to TOP, that's just how i feel. If Top forces the game into macro, Polt will be like a fish in a bucket.
I am sensing Top in the finals if he can hold of Polt's timing pushes and early game harrasses, something I guarantee he will do. In the MKP vs MMA matchup, I think it favors MMA. MMA is so meticulous and patient in TvT, it's hard to penetrate him while he keeps up the pressure with some precise positioning and multi-pronged harass all game long. I think patience is what's going to decide that matchup, something I don't think MKP has as much of, he's not great at the TvT positional war, perhaps due to his lack of usage in tanks, though we haven't seen much of his TvT lately, the match vs TheBest was not informative.

but MKP is destined to go to the finals.... only to get 2nd place again... (hope not xD)

Personally I think MKP is easily better than both Polt and Top. I personally think the winner of MMA vs. MKP will decide the winner of the Championship.
