Week 1: Build Foundations
Method
Easy week. Steal three builds. One build for each match-up and practice it against the AI for awhile till you get the hang of it. Just make sure to get your laddering in for the experience, even if you don't have things completely down.
Logic
I just want to get a basis for laddering effectively. No sort of crazy refining or understanding mechanics. Let's just start playing.

Disclaimer
I'm by no means a master of this game. This is just a record of my thinking behind my personal improvement, so please only positive suggestions or criticisms if you have them. I also have no connections with any of the works I'm referencing, it's all free stuff you can find on the net, so definitely go hunt for more yourselves.
What I Did
For this week I just played YABOT an absolute ton to memorize the 3 different builds. On top of that I wrote down each build on notecards in 3 parts (ie. till first gas, till warp gate or so, and then the rest). I have trouble remembering the builds when I'm actually in the ladder so this helps me. I've watched the videos too, but I watch all the vids before I post them here so this goes without saying.
