Hi peoples, I just switched from playing zerg to protoss and ive probably been playing them for like a week just messing around going mass warp units and sneaking dt's into peoples bases and.....cannon rushing so so funny ...btw I don't rush much only when I'm losing.
So I was woundering if anyone could give me some help with there basic builds. I think the openers like 8/10 pylon 14/18 Gate & Extractor 16/18 pylon
thats about it so your help would be appreciated thanks.
Edit. btw whens a good time to expand as protoss? with zerg its as quick as you can so kinda diffrent

Pretty standard beginning is:
9 Pylon 13 Gate 14 Gas 15 Pylon 17 Core 18 Gas
Then add on more gates/robo usually, depending on what you want to do.

standard protoss opening is 8 pylon 10 gate 12 gas 13 core 15 pylon 17 first goon range after this is for PvT

Haha, I'm pretty sure the first one is a SC2 build (it's the standard build that I usually open with), while the build listed by Raz0r is a BW build. You should probably clarify what game you're playing first.

PvZ You'd opt for a forge first, 8 pylon, 10 forge, 2 cannons, then a nexus.
PvT you can also 14 Nexus.

"mass warp units" I think you're playing SC2. Go with Cuyir's.

Cuyir's is standard. After that there are a multitude of things you could do.
Sorta hard to make a dragoon in SC2 ^^

Depends on the matchup. In PvZ, yes definitely. PvT you can choose to skip the zealot and chronoboost out a stalker once the core finishes, or you can get the zealot. But prioritize the cybernetics core over the zealot, so generally when you have 100 minerals at around 18 supply build the zealot.

vs roaches - stalkers vs hydras - collosus vs corrupters - void rays
not a bad idea to have some zealots to tank initial damage while you make a concave, and sentries to split
