Group C
3) Select 6) Idra 11) Ret 14) Tyler
Group D
4) InControl 5) TLO 12) Haypro 13) Machine If you don't count Huk then you probably shouldn't count Haypro either. That being said, is there really a GSL event during that MLG? If not Huk'll probably be there. I heard Kelly mentioned on some stream chat that Huk isn't coming and Sheth was also saying MLG is expecting up to 4 players not to come. I suppose he might if he gets eliminated from that GSL super tournament early. Haypro isn't in that so he could come regardless.
Its really going to depend when Huk's match in the GSL Super occurs and if he advances. MLG Columbus is slated for June 3rd-5th while the GSL Super is May 23rd - June 18th. Assuming 4 best of 3's a day, if Huk loses his opening match he might be able to attend MLG in time. If he wins and advances he'll probably won't go, but then again its all about scheduling.

I'm sorry if this has already been asked but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Have the commentators been announced yet?
|
It'l be Day9, Wheat and JP I would imagine. No reason why they would change their team.
|
Ok, that's what I was thinking but wasn't sure how they run it. Thanks!

This is my first MLG ever. What can I expect in terms of atmosphere? Are there all kinds of booths from sponsors/companies (Steelseries, Logitech, etc.)? I understand that there's the whole COD and Halo thing going on but what kinds of SC2 related setups would there be? For 3 days I'm hoping to do a little more than watch my favorite pros you know? Also, when is the player list announced?
Super excited for this!!!

As far as I can tell, there are a lot of booths like that. Possibly some raffles by SteelSeries? They typically do that sort of thing where ever they go. I was told that you get as much Dr. Pepper as you want. Players seem to be more than cool to talk to fans, take pics, etc. Very excited for it as well.
Hopefully I'll meet some people on TL.

Question, if I buy a competitor pass for SC2 can I still watch the rest of it as a normal spec if I get knocked out?
|

Are Day[9], DJ Wheat, and JP casting MLG Colombus?

As MLG Sundance said in the apology, we will have some of the best professionals there to ensure it does not happen in Columbus and on.
hmm.. no more octoshape then? oh and give casters more than one computer please.. it was painful to watch them filling time -- during the few minutes the stream actually worked -- instead of casting ongoing games.

The casters have multiple computers, the issue is you can't join a game already in progress or interrupt a match up on the floor. We have some interesting stuff lined up that we will be announcing shortly. Stay tuned.

Going to be some sort of game surfing? where they are in multiple games, and as games get interesting or end they switch over? , that would be really cool, but extremely hard to pull off i think.

By any chance will there be any Koreans at this event? Recently MLGsundance said he was working on player sharing with gomtv, plus goms super tourney schedule leaves the mlg days with no games those days, also i asked MLGsundance via twitter and he didn't deny it (just played dumb)

I believe its been confirmed somewhere that 4 koreans will be there, but nothing has been announced about who's comming.
In related news, the GSL super tournament is leaving MLG weekend open, so one can assume some players that are in the tournament may be attending.
